Thank you so much for this video. I was experiencing thinning in my temple areas. I discovered my Vitamin D was extremely low. My doctor prescribed me Vitamin D supplement that I take once a week. I have been taking them for a month. I have noticed that I feel better and my hair is slowly growing back in my temple area. Thanks again for this information.

You actually need to take vitamin D with fatty foods not veggies. Vitamin D is fat-soluble so it won't work as well with water or veggies.

Thanks so much for sharing, sis! This was my EXACT story… burning in the crown area, dermatologist visits… weird shampoo that didn’t work. Who knew vitamin D was so important. My doctor has been telling me that I’m severely vitamin D deficient for years, but I never did anything about it.

Thank you for this video. I am puerto rican with 3c/4a curls and ive been experiencing so many issues and started to notice my hair growing dry and brittle as well as my curl pattern loosening. This has been going on since covid lockdown started and never thought anything of it. I assumed i had low iron but the results were completely fine. I got myself tested for EVERYTHING and came back with 13ng/ml for vitamin D which is incredibly low. Its not just the hair, i had dry skin, fatigue, ETC. Thank you for making this video because not many POC speak on this issue.

Recently found out I have a vitamin D deficiency too. I had a lot of the same symptoms too. Hair loss, fatigue, heart palpitations etc. How long before you started to feel better? And how long did it take before your hair was back to its original thickness?
@gessiangel
@gessiangel 3 жыл бұрын
The fatigue and heart palpitations went away first. That took about maybe a month. But my hair took about 3 months for the itching/burning to completely stop and my hair to start growing back to its original thickness. Your hair is going to take the longest for you to actually notice a difference.

@jeanjohn6332 Hopefully you're feeling better by now but if not take vitamin K2 with it as well. Also, take the vitamins with fatty foods or your heaviest meal of the day. Thank you for watching and I’m happy that I was able to help you in someway! Your hair/skin/nails are not as essential to the body as other functions (internal) so it will be the last thing to be corrected and will take the longest for you to see any difference. Mine personally took around 3 months to see any difference but I’ve also seen people say that it took them 6 months to a year.

Thank you for your video. I watched the whole thing…. You’re entertaining 😊 I had the same problem but with irritable liver and I have 2 kids and adrenal fatigue too. All of those add up. I had taken vitamin D before. But did nothing. Now I found another one that worked thank God. Sore scalp, dry hair etc. I was loosing my hair for many years. And the only section I haven’t been able to recover is the crown. What stopped the hair fall for me was MSM and vitamin D combined with selenium. But I just started to do PRP to recover the crown. Let’s see how it goes

You have to take 5,000 IU to raise your levels. 2,000 IU is used for maintenance. If you start off taking 2,000 IU it can take you twice as long to raise your levels. Take 5,000 IU but monitor it. Then when you get to 30 IU- 50 IU then you can begin taking the maintenance doses of 2,000 IU.
