Hearing something like this is definitely impressive, but it fits into the common, heroic-braveheart theme that is relatively easy to recreate even if you did so brilliantly. If you were able to make, say, a composition about Shaco, where his mystery is hidden and creepy it would be miles more impressive. Nonetheless, you are a god and this composition was a great listen.

Hey man! I really would like to know what libraries you used in this piece, or at least what libraries you recommend for a piece like this! I really like the sound you've created here and I wanted to ask which libraries your instruments came from, or even if you've sampled them yourself? I've dropped a couple comments asking this question but they seemed to have flown by you! You're getting a lot of hits here so I don't blame ya. I hope this leads you somewhere, any sort of break would be nice right? But if you could help a brother out who has the same passion as you, I would appreciate it. My apologies! I think I did see your comment and I was going to respond, but then I got sidetracked and the tab closed. I actually have a lot of stuff that I would recommend that I don't have haha. Stuff like VSL strings, and Cinesamples stuff. Lets focus on what I do have in this piece. I'm mostly using the following: Spitfire Albion, Stormdrum 2, Heavyocity Damage, Soundiron Olympus Choirs... actually that's about it! As far as the flute, any solo flute library will do :). It's all about how you program it in/arrange it. I still think I'm fairly limited with what I have so far, however, that doesn't keep me from squeezing everything I can out of my tools! When you start buying libraries, it becomes like a mini addiction though hahaha. Can never own too many sound libraries!

Thanks! I'm just getting started with this type of writing and I needed an idea and you gave it to me. I found so many libraries I want between Cinesamples and Soundiron. Soundiron has soooo many and they aren't that expensive, most of them. Again, thanks! Out of curiosity, if you had to name one or two composers who inspire you or who you look up to, could you do it? Who would they be. At the moment, I really like listening to Eric Whitacre's pieces. I like a lot of things about him, but I really like how he uses dissonance.

I've actually been lucky enough to perform both Lux Aurumque and Equus. Both written by him. Very, very fun pieces to perform. Equus was a bit tricky, but so worth it to learn and play.

I'll have to give it a listen! :) I agree that dissonance is really fun to use harmonically because if everything was played cleanly it would be boring eh? I really look up to Joe Hisaishi. His scores evoke the perfect mood for his scenes, and everything he puts out is incredible!

Alright here my 5 cents. I love the style, the music, the tone it gives, and overall it's really really good. JUST one thing; the mastering of the song hasn't been done good. The drums are a bit too loud for the rest and my headset is not filled up the way it should. This is not actual criticism on the music, more on the mixing/mastering part. Very good work tho!
