@@andrewmillwardwatford9410 A+ rating only on 160l and 200l versions, but yeah a Vitocell-300 V EVIA-A+ is £2.4K, an Oso Delta Coil 300l (A-rated) is £1.3K including vat, Viessmann 10 years guarantee on tank, Oso 25 years guarantee. Delta coil heat loss 3.5°C over 24 hrs or so it is claimed. Haven't compared the specs to be honest but videos are super interesting, thanks for making them, I am learning a lot.

Good video. Out of curiosity if the pump is positive pressure and depending on the size of pipework is that why a 8m head can pump to the upper floors which are greater than 8m?

The heating pump is in a circulsting system and so only needs to overcome the frictional resistances of the system.

Lovely job, Andrew! Why not use one big plate at the point where the existing system begins, and keep the plant room completely sealed? Unless I’m not quite understanding the configuration.

I've done two off these now. One with a single plate and single pump and then this one. Its was about 6 or 7 hundred pounds cheaper this was as we had the pumps, the two plates are 170 ish rather than 600 for the single. Im just starting my third one if these today. Using two plates the existing pump and an additional matching pump.

Do you have a reference for that. The flexible connectors come with the cylinders as a package may not be altered under g3.

Andrew Millward I don’t think the regs want you to install a 400mm dead leg, a flow through tee is the correct method.
