In this video, I take a look at Viture and discover why it's not for me.

Correction: Nintendo Switch can be used with xreal or rokid max by using any options available in the marking including Rokid Max adapter, Viture Adapter and XREAL HDMI adapter, but in my experience so far Viture ONLY works with its own adapter. So when I said it can be used as plug and play that's what I meant. Sorry for any confusion.

Thank you. I also bought both glasses and the air 2 pro won for me. The Viture was exactly what you described which is soft,smaller screen and very tinny sweet spot compared to the XREAL. Also forgot to mention the XREAL FOV is far better than Viture which was very noticeable to me between both glasses. I’ve kept the XREALs and returned the Viture after one day of usage.

Thanks for your review! I was thinking of getting the Viture, but then I heard about xReal Air 2 Pros. I‘ve been trying to compare the two different glasses, & your review was so informative! I will definitely be saving my cash up for the xReal Air 2 Pros; they definitely sound like they’re worth the money to me.

There’s misinformation in this video that should be corrected. The Switch needs to be connected to a power source - minimum 5V - 2.6A - via a compatible AC adapter or battery pack to enter Dock mode. The Switch will ONLY output to a display if in Dock mode. To make the Switch enter Dock mode and display on Xreal, there are two options and both require adapters and have a cost: 1) Purchase Xreal Beam $110. Connect Switch to Beam via USB-C and Beam to glasses via USB-C. Beam has a battery and will trigger the Switch to enter Dock mode. Joy Cons need to be removed to play or use Nintendo Pro Controller. 2) Purchase an Xreal HDMI adapter $50. Purchase a third-party Switch travel dock dongle $20. Connect power source to the dock. Connect HDMI from the dock into the Xreal HDMI adapter. Connect the Xreal HDMI adapter to the glasses via USBC. Neither option is free or convenient.

Not misinformation, but an error. Added correction in the latest video. Thanks for pointing it out.

Viture look way better than Rokid, but bro, you can’t compare 60hz vs 120hz

So wrong! Viture has the best support on Switch, either with the adapter or the dock, that is why I can only see switch KZbinrs recommend Viture, they seldom recommend other glasses
@afterworkio5 ай бұрын
Sorry, but Viture doesn't offer out of the box support for Nintendo Switch. You need to buy $130 dock to make it work with Switch. That brings the total cost to around $600 and NOW you have to carry two bulky devices - dock and Switch. On the contrary, you can just plug the XREAL or ROKID into USB-C of Switch and start playing on the go. Another downside of Viture is smaller screen. It' a no brainer, Alex. I will not recommend buying Viture unless they fix these two issues.

@@afterworkio This is so wrong! You need an adapter to enable Switch's dock mode, it is impossible for glasses to plug and play with Switch, there is no glasses can do so because of the limitation on Switch

@@afterworkioWrong! U need a beam to connect xreal and switch! Basic on ur false information, I can’t trust this review. Get familiar with each product before u post those false reviews

@@afterworkiowhat are you talking about brah? The switch is not plug and play on xreal. You have to get adapters for xreal too.
