@VITURE Just to let you know I have been using my Viture one xr glasses with my rog ally and iPad they are amazing - was great having a large virtual display on the plane on holiday, I was really surprised how light they are easily one of the coolest most futuristic devices I’ve ever brought 😁

I just got the Viture glasses, they come later this week. I also have the Legion Go which, thankfully has 2 usb c ports. Hopefully more handhelds will adopt this. Can't wait to see what this all looks like!

Yeah I love my xr glasses I’ve watched movies with them which was a great experience and even a few 3d ones they work with my rog ally and iPad perfectly also really good for use with the Pluto tv app which is a streaming service that has movies and live tv shows to watch totally free - definitely feels like you are in the future wearing them!

Seems like you need the mobile dock for co-op mode, but can you plug it into a macbook pro so that 2 people (using 2 glasses) can see the same screen? Also does it decrease the video from 120hz to 60ha at 1080 when using the mobile dock splitter?

Hey sorry for the late reply. Sort of.. I mean you could play co-op games if say one person was using a handheld and then another had the glasses, but for the "optimal" and "equal" experience, you'd use the dock with two pairs as you said. Also unfortunately it's only 60hz afaik right now because of heat concerns. I've been told though that they're investigating 90hz and 120hz. Thanks for your comment!

Great video, if I'm using progressive prescription glasses sph +0.1 and +0.75 do I need to order the inserts?

I'm definitely not an optometrist and know very little about prescription lenses, but I'm assuming that's a relatively low level of magnification. Do you normally wear glasses during the day? That said, the diopters should work to let you see what's projected/displayed in the video in focus, but not everything in the lens of course. So to confirm I'm not just assuming things though, I'd ask Viture since they have very helpful support staff at [e-mail] If you don't get a response, feel free to reply back and I can follow up with them directly! @@gamers-generation Regards from Kuwait. Thanks for your prompt reply . I do wear progressive lenses daily. I contacted VITURE and they confirmed that my eye sight is within the range of the dial. However the configuration is for nearsightedness up to -5 but I have mild farsightedness +1 and +0.75 so I have to wait til I receive the glasses. If I don’t see clearly then I will go ahead and order the inserts like I did with my Quest 3. Again thanks a lot for your continued support.

With the google play store on the neckband, are you able to download a browser on it?

Yes it will work as long as it's compatible with the Android TV version of Android. You can also sideload "phone" versions of apps if you have access to the APKs. Do note though that there may be difficulty like browser navigation without use of say a mouse or controller if you have to just keep clicking through with direction buttons. Tans for the comment!

Great question. They both have their little caveats. Personally I like the build quality, support, and ecosystem for VITURE vs. The Xreal products but unfortunately we're not comparing the same products, The VITURE Ones are more like the Xreal Airs, and don't (yet) have an Air Ultra type equivalent (in both price and features). Given that you could buy the Viture glasses, neckband, mobile dock, and have a bit of cash to spare, for the price of the Ultras I'm not sold on the Ultras, especially since those have limited compatibility as well.

How much of a difference does it make playing video with the neck band vs the dock? The website suggested the neckband and i just went with it

There's probably some confusion in the marketing. Do you mean using the dock as the player/streamer? The dock is primarily for connecting a device (like a Switch, Steam Deck, or even PS5), and it also has a battery pack inside of it. It in itself doesn't have an OS so it can't play things like the neckband does. How do you like the neckband and glasses? Thanks for your comment!

The dock should be sufficient for a Switch when the Switch is in handheld mode. When docked, it shouldn't be needed. Sorry I can't confirm at the moment as I sold my Switch. Planning to get a new one though soon.

Yup absolutely, you don't need the mobile dock for the Go, but the dock does make it possible to connect two pairs of glasses.

Thanks for your comment! It can with limited functionality (assuming you have the adapter), as in you'll get a picture but you won't be able to use the "ambient mode". So like in the video how it displays out to the monitor, the glasses will be the monitor then.

@@Limitbreak09 Sorry if you mean "ambient mode" then no. The image will stay fixed in the center of your vision. Without the Viture One's, as far as I know, the neckband will just turn into something like the Rokid Station... though there is a beta test for a cool feature coming... that I can't talk about right now sorry.
