Cannot emphasize enough how much this is one of my favorite remixes ever. Something about it captures the essence of the original song and refines it, rather than what a lot of remixes sometimes feel like, where it simply reimagines the song.

Yeah in hindsight I kinda rushed the editing on the video. Everything was done within a day of Mr Weebl's official release. Strangely enough I checked out Newgrounds a few weeks back. I'll be looking into it a bit more, thanks for the recommendation!

Alright, I guess it wasn't that bad. Good job, taking the music and getting it to match up with your beats for it. That actually takes skill. And while some of the video clips didn't perfectly match up, it was still really good. When you start making your own stuff, you'll get pretty far. If you havn't already, I recommend making a NewGrounds account and posting some of your music there =P

I think I like this better than the original! I love the remix of the music, I just wish the animation matched the edited music better. Fit the clips of the animation with the part of the song. I could easily edit this in 5 minutes to make it perfect. (Not a shot against the creator, I just feel it's too easy of fix for him/her to not have done it himself/herself.)

There's actually a fair amount of things I would change if I could, both with the edit and the remix itself. I mentioned before that I only had a single day off work to get this whole thing made so by the time I finished the remix I only had a couple hours left to edit the vid before I had to go to sleep. Interestingly, I actually DID have a better edit...but in typical Adobe fashion Premiere crashed before I had it saved so this version was literally thrown together in the dying minutes of my day and I needed to have it uploaded in time to catch Weebl's attention. The rest is history...

I can definitely understand how tempting hastily finishing a long project can be when you're at the end of your time limit. I think that both the original and this one are not better or worse then each other. For me it's like a finely cooked steak but cooked by two different chefs and while one taste slightly different, both dishes are good.
