Richard Ayoade got my heart and laughs with his wonderful face expression and reaction to the jokes and interaction with the colleagues. 21:29 Roisin: ...it's awful.. Richard: "Well I'm doing my best here. It's all right you know, I won't be here next week..." Solid gold comedy moment.

loved this ep. i don’t understand why some people are upset at the jokes made with Mick when jokes were all they were... at no point did any of them insinuate that they disagreed with the train strikes, this was just comedians making jokes with guests on a comedy show.
@JoQeZzZ2 жыл бұрын
I think Mick's "Called a few strikes of" is seriously one of the best lines on HIGNFY in recent memory. If a guest like that can't get challenged, then satire is done for... Mick has some problems, in that he's in favor of drowning this country in the brexit lie, but if people get cross because there were some jokes about him...? Seriously, get real. I wouldn'tve had Mick on with his weird Brexit sunk cost fallacy, but than again I wouldn't have praised BoJo and mirdered Corbyn. In other words: thanks HIGNFY. You've done great..

I grew up with the Oxford comma in the 60s and 70s. Then somewhere in the 90s they forced us to give up the third comma. Then all of sudden, I noticed that Microsoft Word has gone back to pushing the Oxford Comma. While that makes me somewhat happy, I wish someone would decide once and for all. I'll still add the damn third comma, and be a rebel. But now that I am in the norm, and not a rebel, I am mad....

Very few, if any, episodes of deregulation have been successful. Taking away rules for corporations is seldom a good idea. It's just another way to takeover a business, make money by cutting more corners-laying off workers etc- then squeeze every dime out of it that can be had then get a (govt) bailout or a write-off for the losses. The wealthy business people get elected, take "donations" to make favorable laws & said donors (& themselves) get even more wealthy from those laws. Quid pro quo. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. Perhaps a cynical view, but when you've seen it happen over and over its just the truth
