Worst host in ages. Made it as much about himself as possible. Cringe. Congrats to panel making fun of his ego.

26:27 - If a symphony orchestra wants to be filmed in performance, let it be done by unobtrusive cameras from fixed locations, and make the video available to the public for download. There's no reason to allow each individual audience-member to make their own recording. And if they do, are they really there to engage with the music? Or are they there just to be self-obsessed with their own documentation of their own lives? Are people ever supposed to have an UNSHARED experience anymore? Is music about notes in the air or is it about people mutually stroking and approving of each other? Nobody in today's world knows how to be alone, how to have a thought that isn't in some way really about other people.

20:46 - The Stormy Daniels testimony is troubling, because it's not relevant to the offenses for which Trump is charged. We might need the seamy details if Trump were charged with adultery, but he's not. It's something about the route the money took from him to Stormy Daniels. And to convict him of that, all a juror needs to know is that the reason for paying her was to buy her silence about their tryst. The juror need know only that the tryst occurred. The juror won't need to know about such things as the use of a magazine. Given that, I'm afraid that if Trump is convicted he'd have grounds for appeal, since Trump's lawyers could argue that the jury voted to convict based on their impression that Trump is dev'iant, NOT based on the facts. But let's suppose that the benefit of the trial is not to convict Trump, but to sully his reputation in front of the voters. I don't think that works. Anyone who votes for Trump would vote for him no matter what they ever learn about how he has behaved. Not one single Trump voter is going to change their mind because of ANYTHING they could learn about Trump and Stormy Daniels.

18:49 - The soldier on our right at 18:49. One of the most endearing things Professor Doctor Hannah Fry (PhD) does when she's on this show is tilting her head at the same angle while she's reading the auto-cue in a hurry to get through all the words before she breaks up laughing. That same angle.

17:22 - It is rather surprising that Putin would choose an American (Seagal) whose career is so past-tense as part of his personal iconography, instead of some "glorious" Russian iconic figure who embodies Russian standards of virtue. It would be as if an American President were accompanied by a prominent Japanese sumo-wrestler in full ring regalia instead of a distinguished military general, firefighter of recent heroic acts, or Medal Of Honor winner.

I'm disappointed that even in the extended version the question about the keeper of the Scottish seal didn't get a single observation about the keeper of the Scottish walrus.

i hope this comment doesn't age poorly, but i've always appreciated Paul's palpable disgust when the topic of sexual crimes comes up. i'm sure most people dislike sex crimes, but i'm always comforted by just how angry it seems to make Paul

Love watching on KZbin wish a show like this could be made in Australia but our Labour government would just censorship it out of existence. Democracy has all but gone over here.

I was hoping for better from the U.K. The protesters are not asking their universities to stop doing business with Israel. They are asking that they stop investing in weapon developers, and that we as a country stop sending weapons to Israel.
