@@splatninja9447 The Argrim brothers were originally just one dwarf baby born to a dwarf mother, but as soon as the baby was born a dark wizard named Gredualo The Wise (this video's main villain) convineiently walked by and thinking this would be funny, cast a spell on the baby, this cloned it many times, thus the Argrim Brothers were given very similiar names and collectivally raised by their clan, eventually due to being clones of an original they are cursed to share the same abilities and think much alike, they formed their own group the Tusk Breakers and did all Targrim at the start claimed he was known for, though these accomplishments always boiled down to "Hit it till it dies!!!" Eventually they went seperate ways, though as Targim met other adventurers in a Tavern after recieving a letter, he would die pathetically at the teeth of a simple rat, after that fate would be cruel by having several of his bothers one by one die and another would take his place. And that Dark Wizard that cursed them to be this way, completley forgot what he had done 1 hour later after casting the spell.

The real Targrim the Great died centuries ago, but his magic was so powerful, and his engineering so perfect, that his machinations still work to this day; like his Cloning Device. "Not my turn" is why I allow party combo's out of initiative order (within reason of the initiatives each player rolled). The rogue can say, "I lock eyes with our Druid and gesture to move to the side" and if they have any movement, actions, or bonus actions left I'll allow them to use that. They can't move a tremendous amount but up a portion of the movement so things like this can happen. One of the rogues in my current campaign combo'd with our artificer as they were close in initiative and he nodded to the artificer towards a target. He cunning action hid with a 30 and moved into a sneak attack position while the artificer used thunder wave. They described it as a the rogue sneak attacking with his rapier and then backing up as the thunderwave was cast. Because of the failed save, the bandit was knocked back into a wall and couldn't opportunity attack the rogue. Giving players fun ways to have combat is exciting.... and it saves SO MUCH TIME when they are using their turns together lol. *I extend the same rules to the Enemies and NPC's as well, giving players an added level of difficulty to combat when fighting coordinated opponents. If you want to implement it, I recommend allowing less freedom to those who have a larger initiative difference to keep believability and not sleight party members who rolled well on the initiative. Example: The 2 initiative bard may only be able to use a small amount of movement when it's the 20 initiative Barbarians turn, but may have a greater amount of movement they can use when it's the 5 initiative Fighters turn. Also encourage players to indicate when they want to act alone or combo with nuanced language like "I lock eyes with x character," or "I act alone this turn," or "I garner my strength for a solo all in" and etc. The players love it so far. Lastly, It helps to encourage them by having an allied NPC attempt to combo with them so they have an example.

They keep the gameplay honest. I'm impressed that they actually used valid cases from 5e though. They're explicitly correct readings of the rules which get glossed over frequently too. Without a couple solid rules lawyers to cut them off, the munchkins will turn your campaign into personal jerkoff sessions.

This was a fantastic series. That being said, actually, you can cast two leveled spells in the same turn as long as the other spell is a reaction. For instance, say you cast Hold Person, and the target succeeds the saving throw, you can use your reaction to cast Silvery Barbs even though it's still your turn. The only thing you can't do is cast a leveled spell with a casting time of one action and a leveled spell with the casting time of a bonus action in the same turn. In addition, you can actually use two bonus actions in the same turn. One of the bonus actions simply replaces an action.

The way that this ends, with the Barbarian saying "Oh... that's right." Was played flawlessly. Tone of voice, posture, facial expression - everything about that snippet was absolutely perfect. Despite the context it made my brain immediately start bouncing through a dozen or more different story ideas... all of them as cool as the last. He really can pull off a "makeup villain" if he can maintain that demeanor for a feature length film. His expression showed, very quickly, in the time it took him to say three short words, confusion, consternation, fear, and foreboding. It tells you, without needing the words, that all of his friends are about to die. The _way_ that he delivered that short, simple statement was a flawless mix of sudden understanding, and in equal parts the realization that he had made a horrifying mistake. The fact that this happened, without the intent to do so, immediately shifted everything from half an hour of laughter and fun - to a sobering tone of dread. It felt like the very start of an epic, but terrible, story to come. Absolutely astounding.

As someone who's watched an ABSURD amount of these videos... I'm stunned to say the Rogue is by far my favorite character in any skit. The attitude and acting is perfect for a rogue and the French accent just seals it 🤌

I always thought of it as the characters getting healed by the cleric during a long rest or say if you have a ranger then he forages for herbs to heal with etc

Bro, you can't even survive "with" them, your chances without them aren't even 0% lol 😂EDIT: Demokas' "bish, what?" face after that line just killed me 🤣 Though, that's what I like about this part. Almost all newbie Wizards think they're the sh*t because of some cool spells and overestimate themselves; but what they don't get is that a) those spells are limited in their preparations and daily uses, and b) Wizards are still glass cannons that die easily. It's nice to see these problems represented in a series. Love these guys ♥
