If this had words and a drummer it'd be rock music. I've loved classical music for 60 years. My brother, a Led Zeppelin fan, detests classical music. Imagine the fights we had as teens. But I tried to explain to him that classical music wasn't that different from rock in many ways and pointed out that many classical pieces played on electric guitars would sound like amazing rock music. I think this video proves my point.

I have never been a fan of heavy rock music but I really like this. I played the ukulele for my mum in her care home and play a lot of different eras of music including classical. Someone asked me why I played classical and my reply was that if someone in a care home was a hundred years old then classical music was the pop music of the day. I also wonder what the reaction would be of the composer's to your interpretation of their music and I think after the initial shock they would approve

Na, all time favorite = summer but winter is also amazing...... I tell everyone that hear me play it they have heard the "song" before because EVERYONE has heard it.... put spring on and they are like ya I heard that before and are surprised when I tell em they just heard the "other" movements to the one they already know and is 1000x better lol.

If you enjoyed this look up “ Ciclos” by Los Canarios, a 1974 double LP that is a 73 minute rock (opera) version of “The 4 Seasons”. I believe there is still a South Korean CD reissue still around.

The answered to the question no one asked. One of the finest performances I ever heard was the academy of st Martin in the fields with iona brown dancing as she played and directed their seasons. Evetything about this music requires the bowed articulation of strings
