As a violinist himself, Vivaldi composed really specific songs to the violin. That is a reason why his violin concertos are amazing. This song is a wonderful one. I also found that he wrote this song from a poem he wrote himself.

the part i love the most in this movement is when the "birds" starts singing (approximately 55 seconds into the song). i don't know how to describe it, i just think it's incredible how a group of violins can sound so heavenly and spring-like. i feel like THAT part of the piece truly encapsulates "spring" in and of itself. i wish i had more elaborate words to describe how wonderful i find that passage to be, but alas. i just think it's neat as marge simpson would say!

Beautiful performance. Amazing insight. It is funny to see the difference between performer and audience. The comment section is swooning with delight and yet the video shows Ashot Tigranyan looking quite the opposite. That is the reality of performance, especially when it is the 12,346th time you've played it. That is also the height of professionalism. You might play a song until you are sick of it, but a professional must make it sing to perfection and never let their frustrations crack through. There is certainly a joke with the bass or cello causing Ashot to crack a smile at 2:49, as the song is wrapping up, which is a delightful insight into the relationships and history between musicians as they rehearse together over and over.
