the complexity of this animation shows how complex the actual piece was, and surely was way ahead of its time. i'm pretty sure folks in this time thought he was a showoff for producing music so seemingly hard to reproduce. all i can say is, Grazie Signore Vivaldi.

Oh my goodness - this is riveting, and it is my first time seeing this. It's like hearing anew with my eyes!! It helps me to track better the nuances of what I'm hearing, in intensity, tonal parts, and depth, and the color-coding helps. In the second movement, it was like watching the graceful arcs of a gymnast in the Olympics! As much as I have loved watching Cynthia and all when I play Winter, this is a whole other dimension, and I can just feel those neurons reconnecting in different ways. Thank you!!!

Your comment made me think of how many of us close our eyes when listening. Shutting down my sight seems to internalize the music. It plays fully whole within me, and it’s glorious! This is lovely too, but it doesn’t enhance the sound for me as closing my eyes does.

Musical Animation is voor mij een soort wonder. Je kunt de kleuren lezen zoals muzieknoten op papier en zelfs makkelijker en ook beter ! Bij van bladmuziek afspelen wordt van beeld klank gemaakt maar bij muziek animatie is de richting andersom, daarbij wordt vanaf klanken juist beeld gemaakt. Dit blijkt technisch te kunnen en voor zover ik weet, is dit voor het eerst in de geschiedenis ! Ik vind het mooi ! en maak er op allerlei manieren gebruik van, heel vaak en veel, ook als studiemateriaal. Dove mensen kunnen door de trillingen van de muziek zich een heel eigen beeld vormen van muziek ! Ik ben niet doof maar kan met m'n hand op de laptop een ( bekend) stuk door de trillingen heel goed volgen, met mijn ogen dicht. Ik denk dat voor deze mensen de muziek animatie een grote aanwinst betekent en ga op zoek naar materiaal hierover.

This is fantastic music, so is the visual. I wonder how James Brown and his Famous Flames would have interpreted this piece. After all JB was a huge fan of classical music including Luciano Pavarotti.
