I used the tape idea for a handle 5 years ago and still haven't used anything else lol. I just use clear packing tape instead of electrical tape, works great and you can barely see it =)

Great video! I'm about to jump into these. For a glass handle you can get those cell phone knobs that chicks have on their phones. They stick well, and easy to grab.

For the handle .. Use those 3M hanger thingies. Stick good and east to grab and essteticaly pleasing 🤗

Just set up my first viv, I can tell this is gonna be addicting. Now I’m trying to decide on what frog to get. There are so many. I know I don’t want one that has loud call and not to shy. Any suggestions?

I was looking at the R. Variablilis Southern but now I’m not sure.

@@krissa1911 OK, your options are pretty open with something that size... D. tinctorius are some of the boldest of the darts, and have an extremely quiet call. They can be territorial though, so I don't generally recommend keeping more than a pair together. The variabilis are awesome little frogs and I find them to be one of the bolder thumbnails I've kept. They have a fairly soft call as well, and seem to really do well in groups. You could probably keep about 6 or so in that viv fairly comfortably. Some darts are more terrestrial and some are more arboreal, so it would help to know how the viv is set up. If you like, you could email me a picture at [e-mail]
