This crochet mesh tote pattern is crocheted in one piece starting with an oval base, then the body, and finally the straps. this is an amazing tutorial: trust me when I say that I’ve been watching so many tutorials for mesh bags but they are either too fast, or they have no option for the width of the strap, or the bag has a base that is too tiny or huge. this checks all the boxes of a thorough tutorial too - will definitely be making this bag:)

It depends how wide you want your stripes! 2 rows will be really thin, so I would do every 4

The easiest way is to make it shorter, so do about half the number of rounds I did for the body.
