He doesn't have to RUN for Senate. Vance's Ohio Senate seat will be vacated when he becomes VP. It then falls to the governor of Ohio to fill that seat. No campaigns, no special elections... in Ohio (like many states) it's just picked by the governor.

Dude I’m so glad to hear someone else making a point to mention Vivek has such a genuine quality to him, something I’ve been preaching for a while now. It’s a specific quality that is all too rare in politics, and it’s something that currently I don’t see anyone other possessing currently. The fact so many on the left AND right refer to him as a snake oil salesman is just perplexing to me. Not once seeing him speak has he come off as rehearsed in the slightest since I first began following him a couple years ago. And I’m not referring to his speeches such as this one here, tho he never fails to nail it on a stage and is has always been fire when he delivers a speech. (If you haven’t seen his valedictorian speech you should def check it out.) I’m talking about his off the cuff discussions, interviews, his raw interactions with anyone who speaks with him. He listens with intent, he doesn’t give any sort of pre packaged thoroughly rehearsed bullshit response, he asks questions about the individual he’s talking to and makes an effort to understand their point of view, regardless if he’s speaking with a supporter or detractor. And if you’ve ever seen him debate/converse with a liberal or someone who clearly does not like him, I have yet to see him treat them with anything less than respect, even as he’s being hit with low blows and cheap shot petulance mid discussion. However, as his debate appearances proved quite entertainingly, he won’t just sit with his hands behind his back either and just take it. He’s definitely got a long fuse but if you reach the end of it, I feel sorry for ya. Whether he always had the potential due to his business experience or if he’s just a quick learner, it’s obvious he’s built for this. I have yet to see him become frazzled to any degree in the face of difficult questions either, let alone come even close to losing his cool in the face of direct attacks. He comes off as someone who isn’t spouting lines, going thru the motions, or just repeating some other assholes rhetoric. Whenever he’s asked anything requiring a detailed response, or starts rapping about any idea, policy, belief, etc, it’s clear enough in my opinion that this isn’t an act, no fronting, he’s the real deal. Not only does he fully believe in what he’s speaking on, he’s so naturally able to explain in detail and elaborate with all the ease and clarity of someone who is being honest about their beliefs and values. In a nutshell: HE DEFINITELY BOUT THAT LIFE. 🤜🏻🤛🏻

Excellent test. My father is a never NEVER Trumper. He hated him as soon as he ran for office back in 2015. He was never into politics (still doesn't know a damn thing about it). But the media (he literally watched HOURS AND HOURS of flipping between CNN and MSNBC everyday) told him to hate him and he followed their orders. He hated Trump so much that he couldn't keep his name out of his mouth, made him sound like he was his biggest fan. Pissed when he won. EXCITED when he lost. Now? He's seeing the writing in the wall that he will be president again and now that l am in full support of Trump. He's SILENT and irritated, because he knows he can't say anything. What a great speech! I really struggled over who I wanted for VP. I really, really like Vivek Ramaswamy, Byron Donalds, and JD Vance. I didn't know of JD Vance's background so I understand, but I'm so impressed with both Vivek and Byron. Hoping both are in high positions with Trump. I guess we're very fortunate that Republicans have such strong people to choose from! The Dems have no one and we have great people! Grateful that God protected President Trump! (it will be nice if Larry Elder, Kari Lake, and Dr. Ben Carson hold positions, too.)
