Skye has superior damage than Vivian. Just pop in a poison dart and Vivian will have to deploy a shield. Ambush her after her shield is down. Uncloaked Skye can destroy unshield Vivian most of the time. Vivian can spot Skye from a far but there is really nothing she can do about it .

Opportunity in Chaos with ammo refund. You're a turret, and your sensors can be placed to let your team always know where the enemies are coming from. Booby Trap with Nowhere to Hide as a burn card to get reveal even after the sensor blows. The real power to Booby Trap is flank deterrence and throwing the sensors into rooms that Vivian can't shoot into, because her kit is Line of Sight only. You can secure escaped kills by tossing the sensor where you expect an enemy to go/where they've gone into. The Omega gun is really bad for iron sights, switch to the regular if you're going to use them a lot. The Omega drones are also impossible to see through, while the normal ones have some transparency. The skin is great, but its weapons heavily obscures your vision and the visual shake is exaggerated on that gun.

You're very welcome! The fewer turret Vivians the better. The trap really adds some flex to her kit, and requires a great deal of prediction because the weakness of Booby Trap is that the "mine" function has an arming time of 0.5~1s. A quick reaction and a good guess is needed to leverage its ability to hit around corners before they really do get away. Hope you have fun with it!

Not a fun but effective loadout: you can get one card with 40% ammo refund and another one with 60% refund when ads giving you 100% ammo refund when ads. No idea why it stacks but it's essentially like the old master of arms on koga.

Kami huge fan of your videos. Vivian is one of my champions and I think this loadout would help out. Granted this video is 5 months old. One step ahead - 5 eyes on the prize - 3 unchecked ambition - 3 hidden reserves - 1 runic ammunition - 3. It makes you move really fast recoil less and sweet sweet lifesteal. Kami, if you have your ult ready during the slow-mo portion at the end of a round and you know you are safe from getting ohko, I suggest bringing your ult out already so the moment you get out of spawn in the next round, your ult already starts charging back again. And you can fire the ult blasts immediately after dismounting instead of dismount-ult-fire.

That loadout is honestly trash. You should run max mvmt spd, and both infinite ammo cards at 4. You never reload in a point fight. Edit: I know the reveal build is great, but I just prefer infinite ammo. If you like wallhacks just run nowhere to hide and joyless eyes at 4 with max mvmt spd. She's really broken either way. (Console Player btw)

Infinite ammo is not really that good, too much points and not a lot of difference. I just use the refund on hit card on lvl 4, thats more than enough

If you're going to use controlling nature 5 in a booby trap loadout then you're gonna want to use your sights whenever possible so you get the drone cd resets. Since you're trying not to use sights you might as well just change the controlling nature to something more beneficial like contingency or numbed heart.

Hey kami love the vids but for the increased damage while firing for 2+ sec you should try out the cards that have a chance to use no ammo so you almost never have to reload at all removing deft hands from the equation, that’s one of her strong suits and you can decrease the recoil to almost none like victor and increase ADS movement as well. She’s meant to be more of an ADS mobile turret with that legendary card. Once you can keep your ult up you can keep your drones to see through walls and are almost unkillable being able to hold choke points

Using booby trap with the extra reveal time is really good cuz you can hit an enemy or two and then track them for like an extra 5 seconds or something like that. Really good for just annoying people and booping them around while also retaining vision on them.

Opportunity in Chaos needs unchecked ambition at 5 for 'infinite' ammo, booby trap is pretty good too and you'd never want to ads as vivian unless you're shooting a long range coz she doesnt have that awful of a spread even at mid range with hipfire! Scape goat and 1 step ahead, runic ammunition is like a 3/4 pointer, contingency is a good filler and joyless eyes, nowhere to hide are good for the reveal dr vivian

There is a card that reduces the recoil by a ton on Vivian. If you max that out, there is literally 0 recoil.

Alternately you could run a tankier build focusing on her shield. It isn’t that common and obviously wrecker counters it, but having a bit more survivability can make a big difference between winning and losing those backline 1v1s and 2v1s. No talent for it though

here's my most used loadout with vivian: lv 5 Numbed Heart (extra health, u can't go wrong with extra health) lv 5 One step ahead (U dont have a escape, so use this mov speed, its THE must card for any vivi) lv 3 Eyes on the prize (recoil control) lv 1 Contingency (extra health on shield, helps a bit) lv 1 Runic Ammo (filer card, life-steal) Talent: Opportunity in chaos, aka the only kinda decent Also, aiming with precision sights helps a lot, except with that particular skin, its terrible... and that sucks because looks amazing i i WAS willing to buy it until i saw that shakeness... Her shield build is better imo, shes a point and shoot character what makes her effective is being able to tank on a 1v1 from flank via the shield. Other than that shes highly effective by spamming bullets. the shield is a must.

You're right that aiming down sights is mostly unnecessary on her. That being said, on your booby trap game you had the loadout card that reduces the drone cooldown for successful shots while aiming down sights and u weren't doing that... :P

I think her drone works similar to barik's turrets so you need to wait some seconds before expecting it to blow up. You can throw it at a group of 5 people and will do nothing immediately. I tested it some time ago and this is how it seemed to me. I ran controlling nature 5 and had it a lot of time up but i was like "c'mon, explode" the whole game. Not worth it

@@AM_316 he was the only flank champion somewhat playable by players who want to learn how to flank. He has minimum risk if you mess up but doesn't impact the team as much as when you mess up with other flankers. He was the perfect flanker for newbies. Do you want people learning how to flank using aim heavy and risk heavy heroes like Androxus? Or perhaps die as soon as they get close to the enemy backline like Skye or Moji? Miss every shot with Maeve? Imagine these people on your team. Would you have a noob Zhin or noob Skye? Also if you observe pro Zhin players, they don't use smolder. They abuse Yomi more than they run away, so it's not likely they are going to be affected by this anyway.

@@AM_316 well yeah apologize for my rather aggressive tone towards you, I was just really furious about this huge nerf and really had to vent out. Anyways sure, most flankers can still be played but it's no fun and you learn almost nothing by constantly dying by the time you stepped on the other side of the map because the enemy team noticed you and you don't have an effective escape route. To me playing Zhin feels more like a proper trial and error especially in a team game where one person's existence is very important to the whole team. He's safe and very self sustainable which appeals to lots of people. While learning how to flank I felt like I had the most improvement on gamesense and positioning while using Zhin than any other flankers. Any other flankers felt too complicated or too squishy to play as. Also I talked about Smolder because it's his best chance at survivability. He's got hit hard on billow and this effects Smolder, which is why it's borderline useless now. I used to pick Smolder almost every single match because it's a safe pick. Sure Guillotine is fun and Yomi is strong but for idiot flankers like me Smolder is the card to go.

Im that one dude the rest of the team forced to be the meatshield dummy (aka FL) because no one else want to pick them. Never really get the chance to play a flanker. After the patch I went blazing in as Zhin without knowing his nerf and needless to say I got demolished badly. I almost vowed to never touch flankers again that day.

About that skin. I LOVE IT. especially when she ults it sounds rather cute. dont ask me why I hate the gun though. the shaking that occurs when aiming down sights doesnt affect weapon accuracy and simply is an animation thing. but it is downright distracting. I use that skin along with any other gun skins Regarding vivian. I think shes not in a good spot but certainly aint bad either. just slightly below average. the only thing she excels at is pumping out consistent damage and her ult just ups that consistent damage. Not important but: Just a few a min ago the pub team i was playing with in ranked wanted an all girl team so I went vivian simply coz the other guys seemed much better in playing the other girls than i will.

If you want to play booby trap don’t go to places with long site ranges. Vivian doesn’t have great range damage. Just bait a bunch of people into a room with 2 mines then repeat until they stop then just throw it at the tanks and or the point.
