I’ve been waiting for my 2017 991.2 Base Carrera warranty to expire before installing your VR Tune and a Fabtech X-pipe muffler delete. I am convinced you offer a good product and good service AND it’s cool that you’re just down the road from my home in Mesa. Just today I was told that SofTronic’s ECU Flash can be done via OBD2 port, without physically breaking into the ECU. If true, I like that feature. Have you developed means of overcoming Porsche’s protection to flash without touching the ECU? Or do I still have to remove and bring it to your shop?

Our flash is only $800 but give you the same power as other flashes out there. www.vividracing.com/vr-tuned-ecu-flash-tune-porsche-991-carrera-34l-350hp-1316-p-151361315.html While the HP gains might not seem very high, the tune will give you stronger mid-range pull, and even improve the top end all the way to redline. For NA, I would def consider this. NA doesn't come alive until it goes above certain RPM. Before that, it's pretty lackluster. My 997.2 GTS feels that way. Had I not decided to sell this, I would do this.

It is a RWD 991.2 GT2RS. We run these vehicles in AWD mode on the Mustang dyno as it keeps the sensors and stability control happy.

We're currently filming a 991.2, and we tuned that, we got about 40 horsepower and almost 100 ft/lbs of torque!

Can you program rev matching on downshift for a manual 991.1 S without sport chrono? I’ve seen auto blip, but I’d rather not have a module plugged in making the interior busy.

Hey Jay, Unfortunately this feature cannot be applied through ECU flash calibration. We would love to be able to complete this.

Do you know how much power a 991.1 carrera gts can gain with an ecu tune? I was told once that they can get 60hp, but it’s NA so I’m not 10% sure

Bone stock you can expect roughly 20hp, however stage 2 with full exhaust we are producing a gain of roughly 45hp. 60hp is a massive quote for this platform and will require basically all bolt on supporting modifications including throttle body and plenum upgrades along with higher octane fuel.
