I don't know what it is about them, vivivivivi, but your songs capture this acute sense of surrealism that I cannot accurately describe in words. But I will try my best. It feels like I'm floating through the vacuum of space, yet everything around me feels far away and fuzzy, like an aging and low-fidelity recording. Lying on my bed listening to this makes me feel like I'm slowly ascending, the feeling of weightlessness engulfing me in the folds of it's omnipresent arms. Visualizing this song makes me think of a hazy and indistinct world, every added note giving off it's own aura. The melodicism of your songs combined with the chiptune and unorthodox structures + sound choices result in a composition that conveys so much emotion, yet so little at the same time. It's a phenomenon in and of itself. Thank you vivivivivi. Thank you. but yeah if you don't wanna read the philosophical shit I just wanted to say this album slaps hard. \m/

... i'm honestly in love with this. i don't know what exactly about this gets me, but it really... hits home for some reason. maybe it's because of the way the notes are projected, but i really don't know what to say. vivivivivi, although i've only rediscovered your channel recently, this just portrays such an emotion that i don't know how to fully describe. i'll try to describe this in my own words, because it might make me feel better. untitled - shock. after all that you've gone through, the face you have put up is the same. you deny that it happened. you refuse to realize that it won't be the same again. i wish i could go back - as this realization hits you head-on, you swerve out of control. with that, you begin to fall into a hole where it's nigh impossible for one to escape. sisyphus - everything was falling on top of you. every small mistake, every small issue, all of it is falling back onto you, after almost getting out of the hole once again. postconscious - reflecting on what has happened, at this point you realize that yes, way too much has been placed upon you, but it might be ok. might. there's never a definite, is there? moving forward - the hole has been almost fully climbed out of, yet you are still realizing that the hole felt like home. that it felt safe, with it being your safe space. but that wasn't supposed to last. without you - you will move on. the hole wasn't always your home. will it be perfectly ok? no, no it won't, but moving on is the first step to being ok. tldr: this is a really... really good album imo. vivivivivi, keep doing what you're doing! it's honestly great, and... yeah! i dunno, i like theorizing with this stuff. thank you for making this amazing content!!

The point of art, as described to me by band directors and art teachers over the years, is to create emotion. This goal is just as true for music as it is for any painting, sculpture, or whatever other medium an artist may chose. Many complaints with modern music arise from the lack of emotion contained in the electronic instrumentation chosen by so many people, but this doesn't hold true for you. With IN MY HEAD, you so artfully map out the emotions contained in a panic attack. You show the same amount of skill with this album, and though its sound is completely different, it still inspires emotion beyond what so much of today's music can. You are among the most impressive musicians and composers I can think of, and I cannot give you high enough accolades for your work. Thank you. Tl;dr: Your music is pretty gosh diggity darn awesome.

Had a project idea a couple years I was going to call Sisyphus. No particular structure... I just had become really really fixated on Sisyphus, and more specifically, what he represents. Albert Camus really painted quite the picture. Not the most original idea to use it as a project title, but it was a good idea to me... And I hadn't looked around at the time to see if any albums or music projects used the title. And low and behold years later KZbin does the work for me. I am so glad to see someone do justice to it in ways I have not had the time, and I'm not sure the talent , to do like you. Your and productions are like my own idealized, desired, fantasy work, elements of which I hear in my head throughout the day, but just haven't been able to translate into a computer yet. Not yet at least... I didn't start learning production basics until I was a young adult, and it's been during a truly trying period of my life where it's been hard to focus on anything that isn't survival, and ensuring my immediate future is at least okay. I keep an archive of various ideas, and lyrics, and notes that I indeed dream about someday making something powerful with. Thank you for this man. Thanks for the commitment to seeing your vision through. I am jealous, and I can only aspire to make a project half as compelling as this. You are inspiring. I love this all the way down to your cover art styling....I was going to do a real rough, gritty painting for what I was imagining, had a few draft styles in mind... Was thinking about dabbling into pastels again... Luckily for me, imagining the possibilities is half the fun... Which is wonderful, because I can't commit to seeing through 99% of the stuff that's crossed my mind over time. Just too much. Which is why I am very glad I've learned to be able to just enjoy the idea of things, and if it does physically work out... Double wonderful :). How was that cover art produced? Is that digital? I can't quite tell... I always know an album is good when it devolves me to disjointed praises and ranting!
