The members of Viviz actually wanted Untie to be the title track. I like Maniac a lot, but yeah, Untie is...something else.

The cool thing about Maniac is that the song got a chart reversal. The song only started entering the charts after the comeback promotions ended. It's been more than 2 months since the song was released and it's still topping the charts to this day, Maniac challenge (the hips choreo) is still trending too. Kudos to Kany, the choreographer for both Maniac and Untie.

If you want to see some Gfriend variety content , they did a couple of collabs with Mamamoo, with the shows Showtime and Weekly Idol. Mamamoo adores them. I think Hwasa and Umji have a special bond because they were both subjected to hateful comments early in their careers.

To many of us Viviz is an unofficial sub unit of Gfriend. They are supposed to be their own thing but all the members still identify with Gfriend and heck they even perform Gfriend songs on stage, so they are a sub unit in all but name.

VIVIZ have great diversity in their music and this explodes in their 4 albums where they explore so many genres and experiment with different sounds. They are a joy to listen to. I really think you should react to them during your GFriend deep dive or even before then. Likewise Yuju and Yerin have great albums since going solo so it would be ideal to include those in your deep dive too. I cannot wait for you to start your deep dive as that will be one of the highlights of my year. All the members still call themselves part of GFriend and meet up regularly whenever their different schedules allow. They all posted the same Photo Booth pictures of themselves all together as OT6 on Instagram on their 9th Anniversary last week. SinB said that VIVIZ don’t need a leader as Sowon is still their leader. Their genuine love for each will never die and 4 years after the breakup this is getting even stronger. Every member of GFriend joined in with the dance challenges of VIVIZ, Yuju and Yerin in the last 3 months showing publicly their support for each other. Sowon has promised that GFriend will reunite again and this is the year she would like them to do it. But there are a lot of hurdles that will need to be overcome first.

Thank you so much for your reaction to them! Viviz I’d say are quite unpredictable with where their music goes as each comeback they’ve had is very different! They have 4 mini albums and all of them are amazing and definitely recommend! Personally, love love love is a favourite bside of mine! Maniac is probably their most popular (alongside bop bop). They promoted this song quite a lot, the dance challenge is VERY popular a lot of idols have done it (4:49 is the dance). Climbing the charts a lot too lately! They even promoted untie on music shows on its own for a week or so! You got the members right! Umji has the brown hair, sinb has the platinum blonde and Eunha had the pink (or black bobbed hair in the music video) Even potentially by the time you next react to them they’ll have a whole new mini album and comeback! They’re really great and amazing girls! I can’t wait for the gfriend deep dive!!

Gfriend vocals are so unique, i really like their voice tones, although i was not fan of their main genre, i mean, not my type of music taste being honest, but i really like viviz, they are growing better and stronger

Maniac ended up growing more on me than untie and I think it was something that happened in general, in addition to how viral of the last choru 4:47 went, today it continues to slowly rise on the charts and Maniac is already the Viviz song that highest ranked on Korean charts🥳

@@roguereacts The 으 sound doesn’t exist in English so it’s kind of hard to describe in text. Watch a video of them talking to each other, you’ll easily hear it! Also it’s Shin-pi, not Sinbi - the “si” sound doesn’t exist in Korean, it’s pronounced like “she” instead

The international name 'VIVIZ' is shorten from 'VIVId dayZ' meaning they can proudly, vibrantly express themselves as artists. In Korean, Viviz written and pronounced as 'BiBiJi', it's an abbreviation of the members' names, namely eunBi, eunBi (Eunha and Sinb have the same real name) and umJi. So yeah, you can call them Viviz(Vee-veez), Vee-vee-zee, or Bibiji, it's all correct :)

The girls fought hard for untie to be title track but there agency bpm entertainment really wanted maniac so they compromised and gave untie a performance video AND they promoted it on music shows too and kany the choreographer for maniac not only choreographed untie performance she directed and told the company to add English subtitles she's such a godsend to viviz this comeback was a gamechanger for them
