I think it’s a shame they got rid of the 1 inch sensor for a smaller 1/1.28 inch. With 1 inch raw videos would be a different level. And if they would be at 34mm it would literally be the perfect phone camera

Great choice if you shoot in LOG and color grade. Just limited in low light due to sensor size. I shoot some of the videos on this channel already with it.

It's decently close, but still you can tell one is a phone camera and other is dedicated camera. And one comment about Vivo camera is that camera itself is pretty decent, not exactly cinema tier, but solid, however you still have to fight overly aggressive computational photography for it to stop messing up shots. Also some shots ended up oddly green. Anyway, Vivo should just chill out a bit and let that sensor shine.

@@FlameSpartan100 Different? It's just generic high-end China phone. You get high end internals with a bit sketchy software and update policy at kinda okay price. It's a fair deal depending on your priorities, but it's kinda plain phone. And the main flaw is that it's Vivo and that means that its availability in Europe will be poor, nonexistent in US and Japan. IMO it's just not special enough to deal with importing. I would rather look at importing Sharp R9 Pro.

It's incredible! 😃👍 You need to watch the video in 4K, then zoom in and then become a pixel-peeper to see differences in the optical qualitites! The digital processing in the Vivo smartphone is very much to my liking. I prefer the higher dynamic range, the sharpness and the in many cases the colors. I'd say the video rather exposes the weaknesses of traditional cameras than the ones of Vivo. 😎

I bought one and used it for a week, the camera can take some incredible photos but it struggles with kids and moving subjects in general. And if you look closely at the photos, they are heavily processed and sharpened with some very weird looking features on people. The Funtouch OS is pretty awful as well, and there is a terrible bug with glide typing conflicting with the back gesture. Sold it on and back to the Pixel 9 Pro.

skin tone/face processing is still🙄 its the problem of vivo even if beauty mode turned off. i have used vivo x100 pro for few days in past & returned immediately due to unnatural face processing. n for those who are saying dslr or mirrorless also applies skin softening. i have lot of photos with me from multiple weddings from dedicated cameras. cameras never take this much skin smoothened photos with unnatural faces. in my opinion Oppo Find X7 ultra is probably the best phone for human photos & portraits right now. Watching on my Oppo Find X7 ultra(blue)❤ Camera Beast🙌🏻 Stunning Design😇 portraits on this are just insane👌🏻 though s23 ultra is primary phone.

But it's far behind all other competitors for photography Apart from that for photography I would suggest 1. Oppo Find X7 ultra 2. Vivo x100 ultra S24 ultra is also good choice but chinese competitors are way better than it specially for night photography+videography. If you want good all rounder phone Go for S24 ultra(display, Camera, software, battery backup N all) If camera is priority go for Either Oppo or vivo above mentioned models Or else wait for Oppo Find x8 ultra. It will launch in few months. But chances of its global release(coming to India) are very less. Same is the case with vivo x200 ultra.

Hm woudnt it makes sense to compare edited photos from the sony? I mean the pictures are way less procesed than on the smartphones and it seems like they give you just the foundation with that you can work in a software. (But not sure if thats what prof. photographers do)

This review was with slow framing, panning, very slow walking. When you use fast moves in low light or at night, the video quality on all 3 lenses on the x200 pro are jerky! better with main camera, but still you can spot jerkiness when viewed on large screen
