night mode kicks in automatically at night on auto but if you want to squish a bit more details you need to use the dedicated night mode. I own the phone.

Still using Oppo Find X2 Pro as its the only model Oppo has that got 512GB internal that is officially sold in my country (Indonesia) the X3 and X5 Pro is sold with 256GB option only. Been waiting for X6 Pro to upgrade bcoz I hate SD888 and 8Gen1. Now 8Gen2 is hella better so I will upgrade to X6 Pro (maybe) if the camera and performance is at least on par with X90 Pro+. Will be waiting for your detailed review of Oppo Find X6 Pro before I decide which phone I will buy to replace my trusty Find X2 Pro. Thank you for your detailed review.

@@andyH_England I love the design and camera of X5 Pro. I have a friend who use it, and I try to play with it many times. The things that hold me back from upgrading is the missing periscope zoom camera and the no. 1 reason. Heat. SD8Gen1 is like a stove burner. I love to play game in my phone. My friend's X5 Pro really gets hot and choppy while playing Genshin after just 20-25 mins. And sometimes the game just force close if he played outside (not in air-conditioned room) after just 40 minutes. This is very very unacceptable. So seeing Nick's review of X90 Pro+, I have high hopes for X6 Pro as both use SD8 Gen2. With better cooling solution. Be it vapor chamber or whatever they wanna call it.

I love my new X90 Pro+. The design is really handsome, the OS is super smooth and has a ton of intuitive features, and everything runs perfectly. Really, just a fantastic device. I also love the fact that the phone case, that comes in the box, is the nicest phone case one could ask for.

That metal bar on the back looks great! Too bad the new X100 series doesn't have one... Also, it's incredibly smart to have an official case included in the box, which mimics the back of the phone - it's a great solution to the problem of a case hiding the beautiful design of a phone.

love my x90 pro+. I must disagree about the haptics. they're good, but not up with the best. pixel 7 are better (pixel 4xl even better again), xiaomi 12s ultra are better. x90pro+ haptics are snappy and punchy but lack a bit of the low end thump of the others have. they have a bit of low end but also have a high end note that I wish wasn't there. it sort of "pings" every time. I'd say they're 2nd tier if pixel 4xl & 12s ultra are top tier.

I got this one immediately after release from tradingshenzhen and what I really don't like about this phone is this: you can't switch between lenses when filming with 60 fps which a S21u or s22u could do at 4k! The coating from Zeiss is not scratch resistant at all! It's already looking heavy used and I have two of them and both have the same problem same with the frame absolutely not scratch resistant.

for anyone who dislikes the high end "ping" with x90pro+ typing haptics (with gboard / SwiftKey) turn system haptics to High, then in gboard/SwiftKey set haptics to 17. if you go to 18+ it triggers that high end "ping" note but 17 gives snappy haptics without the ping. it's pretty nice, and not achievable with the regular system settings alone. quite like pixel 7 haptics. Im much happier with this setting personally.

I use T-mobile and all my Chinese phones work flawlessly. I even get better reception than T-mobile locked smartphones. They also work on Ultra Mobile, an MVNO of T-mobile. Much cheaper and just as good.
