Wish i would have seen this before I bought them. I just returned mine today. I'm a size US 9.5 and used their sizing guide and got a size 10. It was like wearing flippers and the toe caught on the floor at the gym while carrying heavy weights. Just asking for an injury. Other than being huge, they were comfortable. And it gave me a chance to see that it just doesn't meet my needs (strength training, cross training).

Their sizing chart is whackkkkk. Sorry you had to deal with it. It's always funny when people come to my vids yelling at me for MY sizing recs then they try Vivo's and get royally sad by the fits of certain models.

Tried it and really wanted to like it but didnt work for my low volume and narrow foot. Too much side to side movement a shame bevause they were comfortable and i prefered rhe bungie lace system. Gonna stick to the motus strength.

Dangggg. Yeah, the spillover is prob gonna be an issue for narrow and wide feet. That’s one of my gripes, too!
@QuasiAmerican2 ай бұрын
@@thatfitfriendyeh I figured it would be the case as I can't wear any of the other knit vivos due to the same issue. It's ok as I absolutely love the motus strength anyway 😁.

@@QuasiAmerican feel you there, I’m on the cusp with my lite knits and get that fold over issue, too Motus strength ftw!

@@thatfitfriend yeh I just can't lock my heel down at all in them. I even tried a size down in the Primus lite knit and the motus flex but then it's too short sadly.

I found a solution as I have very skinny feet. I purchased some different flat xpand laces off amazon. It takes some adjusting but with different lacing patterns you can adjust the fold over to a comfortable position without pressure spots while achieving a secure & tight fit. Though it creates a little divet above the toe box so aesthetically it's not perfect but the knit allows flex and comfort regardless.

Thanks for your review! I'm a big fan of vivo barefoot but my last 2 purchases have not fit me correctly! Turns out that from all of my work strengthening my feet and toes, I require a larger toe box. Most of the vivo start to taper after my 2nd toe, so my 3rd toe, 4th toe, and pinky rub on the outside. Do you think this would be a good option for me to give a shot? Thanks!
@thatfitfriend10 күн бұрын
Potentially...just because of the knit upper giving you a little more wiggle room. But if you've worn models like the Primus Lite III/Trail Knit FG and they've been nos, then I'd save your money and pass on these, too

Hey Jake, just got this show and overall love it! But I got my normal size 12 and it feels a tad big. I have a thumb space at the end but this is what Vivo says should be the sizing. Should I go down to 11? Worried it would be too snug and short
@thatfitfriend2 ай бұрын
I'd go 11 and try em out so at least you'll know versus keeping a shoe that feels too big and flippery!

I'm a Barefoot Trainer! I lift, crosstrain barefoot; not a lot of cardio, but plan to raise the bar in that direction. My question is understanding Im shoes off when training, do you have a recommendation for a Starting Barefoot Shoe, that works in Training and Everyday life (fyi I'm on my feet as a Personal Trainer as well, and looking for recommendations for clients too as I have them out off shoes ehen we Train)?
@thatfitfriendАй бұрын
Do you want a shoe with a slight midsole that close to barefoot for beginner purposes?
@Joknows70Ай бұрын
@thatfitfriend Actually I am looking for the highest recommendation of quality and performance. I prefer barefoot; lift with heavy loads in squat, deadlifts, and heavy carries. So I'm prepared for your best recommendation - And "Thank you for taking the time to Reply - you are 'That Fit Friend' and very appreciated! My wife mentioned wanting a barefoot shoe as well - she may need a beginner recommendation, as she has a flatter foot, but my arches are strong.

These are def more targeted for calisthenics and more sagittal plane movements. For size I noticed they fit very similar to Vivo Sensus.
