Janet is 54, Share is 53, Roxy is 54, Gina is 51. God have they aged well with time! I know Gina is Jan K's replacement, RIP Jan K. The other three original members are still kicking ass! Janet's voice seems so much more soulful with age. The whole band is so tight sounding, almost surreal how good they are. Saw them 4/2/16 at Rockfest in Sunrise, Fl. They were phenominal. Just like a fine wine, better with age!

It was recorded with a Dolby Digital microphone and I was standing very close to the band so the mic picked up the audio a lot better, especially the vocals with almost no distortion. I was standing in front of the bass player so you can actually really hear the bass lines and the backing vocals as well, which usually gets drowned out in most recordings.

If you listen closely, the bass lines actually follow the tone of the lyrics very closely. If you have a subwoofer attached to your audio output you can more easily hear it.

ah. this is much better. I watched a few of their early gigs following the VH1 Reunions show and thought it was pretty rough on the edges. I enjoyed the performances anyways but few things were definitely stand-out bad which is understandable since they weren't touring anymore and they're not the young spritely spring chickens from 30 years ago. And i'm sure janet wasn't singing in the dental office and Share wasn't playing as much in her quilting bee or whatever it was she got into. lol. It was good seeing this recording, the vocals and guitar playing is much cleaner. great harmonies.

I think Vixen should have been the main headliner, they easily outperformed Lita Ford that night. But Lita Ford is the bigger name with a longer rock history, that's why she was the main headliner, and Vixen also opened for Lita Ford back in the 80's as well.

Dream on Latvia! I seriously doubt that Vixen even played anywhere in eastern Europe even during the haydays of the late 80's. They did play in western Europe during the late 80's but that was back then when the world was still sane. Today with the mass Islamic invasion of western Europe and terrorist attacks happening weekly you can forget it!

Yes she did at one point sue the other band members because Jan Kuehnemund was the original founder of VIXEN and she was being excluded from the band that she originally founded. But Jan Kuehnemund was planning to reunite the classic Vixen line-up in 2012 but died of cancer in late 2013. My guess is that her ownership rights of the band's name died along with her since she was no longer alive to enforce and uphold her ownership claim against anybody who chose to use her band's name.

Janet sings lead vocals so she only plays rhythm guitar, not lead guitar. There are very few lead vocalists in music history who can do both lead vocals and lead guitar at the same time, and even then the guitar chords are never that elaborate or technical.
