I read the whole of bleach but have no recollection of this event, who is she in the grown up version, does Kyouraku know? Why did he stop wearing his, supposedly, wife's hairpins and kimono? What was entrusted to him?

This flashback was in the manga. The young girl is Nanao. She’s recalling how she met Kyoraku. Kyoraku is actually her uncle, the women in the pink kimono is Nanao’s mom and Kyoraku’s sister-in-law. Nanao’s mom is entrusting her family’s heirloom Zanpakuto to Kyoraku as she believes the sword is the cause of the Ise family curse that causes men who marry into the family to die early. Nanao’s mom hopes that by giving away the sword the curse will be broken.
