@Rex Going up a tier should not be a downgrade tier for tier. Each tier you go up should extenuate and enhance the characteristics of the previous tanks, not the other way around. What you just said is just a cheap cop out for WG's incompetence with regard to balancing. The German line used to be all about using your tank correctly in a smart and reserved manner. Now they've become braindead, easy tanks to play that are just as much a stain on the game as the Russian heavies. I would much rather have seen the Russian tanks get a nerf than see the German tanks get a buff.

My opinion they both good i like it i keep it on my garage the vk 30.01 D has a good frontal armor if u angle it so its good for peek a boo it has a good mobility good fire rate the vk 30.01 P has a very good turet armor so play it hull down it has a very good mobility too it has a very good alpha gun

I didn’t notice the buff on the vc while fighting it lol. I think it’s because I was playing the st. Emil in realistic battles when I did fight it so I wouldn’t be able to see the armor highlights and the gun can just butter it anyways

Hey Meadsy, thanks for the heads up on this tank. I re bought it and have just gone 22 wins from 25 games in it!!! 2 Masteries and many 1st/2nd class games. Two of those losses were to MT who wouldn’t fight and capped in Supremecy! Appreciate your videos man!

Funny you say 'nothing special' but for Tier 6...that is awesome. Anyways, been playing for a while and have always enjoyed playing this tank; has been a -'go to' tank for me for couple years noww. Yes, have noticed that side scraping is awesome now but still could do this, albeit at a lesser rate, before. Based on speed and reload and pen, think this armour buff suits it well. I mean, it can still get circled and dealt with quite easily still so see this as a positive move for once. HOnestly, do think some other heavies should have armour improvements...cmon, they are heavies.

Stock gun on this tank works as well with cheaper rounds For those who have credit issue, use stock gun. Otherwise, use other better guns but 5X more expensive shells.

I bought this tier 6 monster 2 days ago, no upgrades, crew 50%, still manage to win, best blocked dmg score was 4920, dmg dealt almost 2500, nut sure about that, the only thibg that remains in my mind is 4920 dmg blocked... Dayum bruh, he thick, that's a thick armour :))

the amour is good but the lower plate gets penned really easily and is always set on fire plus the cupola gets penned too but overall the armour is really good at the sides and rear

Vk 36.01 H is become a joke to many tier VI Because its thin front armor that can be penetrated using TIER IV because it VK 36.01 deserve a HUGE BUFF especially FRONTAL armor and its AMMOR RACK place

Yesterday I researched and bought this vk 36.01H to get the tiger 1 when i played the vk i was surprised i expected an ugly small shitty tank but now i think ill keep the tiger 1 only for my collection of historic vehicles. Nobody talked alot about the vk and that meant to be good than less people know such great thing exists than smaller chances that somethimg bad gonna happen to my new favorite tier 6.

It's frontal Armour has got a big weak spot. The black pannel just below the Hull has got no Armour at all. Not recommended for spearhead attacks

I have a question about the aiming time, i garage i see an aiming time of 4.7s on the 88 mm gun with a 100% crew and 13% crew from food, on blitzstars i see a time of 2.08s, why is so much difference? what i'm not getting?

depends on the playstyle. if you go aggresive against low tier/meds and want the extra pen/dpm go with the waffle. if you do peek a boom go with the 88.

The VK 36.01 H did not need this buff in the slightest. This is coming from someone who absolutely adored this thing before the buff. Now it's just outright OP. You used to have to know how to angle and side scrape in this thing, now you can just waltz up and bounce anything and everything. Poorly done job by WG here. This tank leads poorly into the Tiger I and did not, in any way, need a buff at all.

This tank is just BS now. I come from WOT PC (where the 36 0.1H has 100 MM of frontal armor like it should) and am currently grinding the Russian med line on Blitz and I'm on the T-34-85, Top gun has 143 MM of average pen on the AP meaning I literally have to spam gold and sacrifice DPM to pen him frontally, while in WOT PC I can punish him heavily for sitting in the open unangled, *in the same exact tank.* The problem in Blitz is all the idiots that think 100 MM of armor isn't enough, so WG gives it 45 MM of extra thickness than it had IRL for no reason other than that they don't know how to angle their armor or side-scrape at all. Why the Prototype Tiger would be more OP than the production Tiger is just stupid and beyond me. 100 MM for these tanks are adequate if *you know how to play* Sure, I know it's sides and rear are weak and I generally can kill them pretty easily as long as I can outplay them, but when you have *zero* frontal weak spots to shoot on Heavies it gets stupidly old, The M6 has this problem, So does the T1 Heavy and a few others I'm not thinking of. In no universe should I be able to shoot an un-angled T1 Heavy Hull with a tank 1 gun tier higher shooting at it and it bounce off every single place on the front plate except maybe the "cheeks" if you get lucky, The M6 hull cheeks aren't even a weakspot. Flanking or gold is literally your only option without an OP gun. I've noticed other Heavies exhibit this behavior too such as the Tiger I but to less of an extent I feel. But there's a double standard? The vast majority of the low Tier Russian Heavies armor is unchanged on the KV series tanks, (75, 75, 75 etc) making it entirely possible for me to just lob regular ammo through the hull and turret front all day, I guess you could argue the high alpha guns make up for it, but that's debatable to me. I knew something was up with the VK and a few others on Blitz and it really threw me off initially being a PC player, as I'm initially expecting my 143 pen gun to go through the front of the (VK,T1,M6 etc) like butter only to find my shots bounce harmlessly off and do nothing, forcing me to flank them. I guess at the end of the day it *does* make me a better player, but also sort of kills my immersion because deep down I know my 85 MM D5T gun was capable of knocking out the VK, M6, T1 and even the Tiger all at over 1000 M frontally IRL and on WOT PC, so when I have to flank a tank *I know I should be able to pen* I just feel cheated and annoyed. Having fun on Blitz so far nonetheless.
