+Dustin Fowler Ha! Thanks. Some of the crashes we intentional and others were actually from the beginning when I was learning the right speeds and jumps. It handles really well once you get a feel for it

Thanks Steve! Run videos are my favorite to make. It really is a killer RC car. I did end up taking my Panasonic out to film and used my iPhone. So I was running 2 cameras and the car! Lol.

good throttle control. you really gave it to that thing, and it took it. i'm impressed.

Thanks! Throttle control is a bit trickier when that hand is also holding a selfie stick with phone on it. lol Probably added to my crash roll at the end.

heyyyyyy....... this is by far the BEST DAM TRUGGY THAT I HAVE SEEN DOING THESE STUNTS AND NOT BREAK ONE PART.
@CCxRC7 жыл бұрын
It is pretty crazy that it made it through that beating without any breaks!
@robertcole89317 жыл бұрын
Yeah congrats on that one its a BEAST.But a bit too pricey from some area's of the globe .Worth looking into though thanks for a great vid.

Nice edit buddy! I am pretty impressed with the beating it took. Gearbest is sending me one out for review as well. I was checking it out on the website thinking it would be a junky RC, but after looking at the pics and specs I was pretty impressed. Nice bash bro!
@CCxRC8 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I'm very impressed with it. I broke it doing double backflips today, but it should be an easy enough repair. The way the shocks are bolted on is a bit weird and the long bolt makes it easy to bend and snap. Going with a thicker bolt on the repair. Look at the Helion Select Four 10tr...it is the same basic roller but re-branded. That means parts are available from Hobbytown.

@Clementine4657 жыл бұрын
That's amazing how tough it is in the video. If I so much as fart near my racing bison, something new will break. I haven't gotten through a full battery pack without a breakage of some kind in about 2 months. And I'm only driving this thing in my driveway and around the front yard. It's a standing joke with my wife "hey Hun I'm going to go drive my rc" and her response "ok see you soon" cuz she knows I'll be back in 5 minutes looking for replacement parts. I drive this thing like it's made of wet paper and still I have gone through about $100 in parts and maintain a constant 5 minutes of driving to 60 minutes of repair time, if I'm lucky. The other day I got through a full pack without breaking something new and rainbows started bursting in the clear blue sky. They lasted about 30 seconds when I put a new pack in, drove away and immediately a shock mounting screw broke in half when turning at about 5 mph. This truggy is a complete joy to drive when it's working, and that's why it's such a tease. But every part on here that needs to be tough or reinforced is made of the cheapest materials available. This is particularly true for the screws - and let me tell you the factory didn't do you any favors there either. Make sure you have your drill bits ready. My suggestion is definitely to buy this truggy if you want to learn how to repair and reinforce cheaply made hunks of garbage. Couldn't be more unhappy and it almost killed my rc hobby before I ever really got started. Hopefully the next one I buy will be significantly less discouraging.

They sure did. It looked great when I unboxed it, but I wasn't going to get too excited until I saw it on the trails. For the price, it outmatches almost everything I've seen.
@what18647 жыл бұрын
love the video , my bison though would ov needed many repairs during that bashing , have not put it through near what you did and have had to replace many parts including the chassis , front bushings and pins one front a-arm, now need to replace spur gear for second time , but it is fun to run ....
@CCxRC7 жыл бұрын
Yeah man. It was "hard", but for the most part it carried the impact through and didn't cause any crazy breaks. The chassis really seems to crack when you land inverted and catch the tail fin. The force definitely stresses the chassis. Cracked mine on some smaller jumps where I was going for distance. I bought the metal chassis brace to install when I stop and fix it
@ikromimansor886 жыл бұрын

+tomas lungs either one is really great. I prefer the Bison because it feels quicker and more agile. Plus parts are easier to get quickly for the Bison if you live in a country where Helion products are available. Most JLB parts have to be ordered from China.

Actually, the only thing that reminds me of a Revo is the body. The shocks are are like an Arrma or Losi truggy. It's a pretty common design.

This is not what i call hard bashing lol. All i see is a commercial video.
@CCxRC8 жыл бұрын
:) I don't think the commercial would've put all the crashes in there. lol. I was intentionally nose diving some to see how it would take the bad landings. Did alright. Today I did break the bolt that holds the front right shock. Bought another 3mm traxxas bolt and an HPI lock nut to fix it up and get it running again.
