I think i should let you know in Korea it's more acceptable for men to be more affectionate with each other. No, it doesn't mean their gay. Even if they were none of us really care. Also the whole "shipping" things is just what fangirls do. Also these videos aren't very accurate. It misses alot of stuff. Jungkook left his home at the age of 15 and often cried and missed his parents. The other members practically raised him and he's very thankful for that. There all like brothers.

Just a note that the subs from youtube were fake subs loll. Their automatic engine was trying to translate what it was hearing and it made no sense. But yeah, I respect you guys openness to different things but I feel that this may not be a series you'd all enjoy to continue :( don't force yourselves and just let your viewers know, it's 100% fine. Those are fan compilations and it's honestly more productive and entertaining to watch their official content and stuff they have on their channels. So MUCH! I recommend AHL. By the way, it's really important that you know something before continuing the series. Their culture is very very different than American culture, so men that are really close in Korea tend to be very touchy with each other. Boys are taught since a young age that it's okay to show affection to each other so sometimes they embrace each other, slap butts, hold hands etc, what ever it may be.. (like how close family is) A lot of straight Korean men do it and it's not considered a "gay" thing. It's just how they show they love each other, so although I know you might find it cringey at first, I hope you can be understanding and non judgmental of their culture.

Seniority is pretty important in Korean culture, as younger people are supposed to respect those who are older. That's why age differences are seen as a bigger deal than in the west. -People call each other with honorifics in order to give respect. For instance, "hyung". You'll see the guys refer to other members as "hyung" pretty often. "Hyung" is what males call older males that they are close to, it means "older brother". You'll see the members sleeping together often, hugging each other, sharing food, etc. It's just part of their culture and it also shows how close they are to each other. Its usually shown thru hand gestures, "babyish" voices, facial expressions, etc. Both guys and girls can do it. Anything sweet, innocent, childish, etc. If you're not familiar with the concept, it may seem kinda weird, but it's just something that a lot of people do to show affection, if done correctly. I believe that cuteness in general is popular bc it bring a positive, whimsical, fun kind of feeling. Like how you feel when you see a puppy or a baby or something. It just makes people happy lol. -another small thing abt names: In east asia, last name comes before first name. So for example, Suga's name is Min Yoongi. "Min" is his last name, "Yoongi" is his first. And it's pronounced "Yoon-gee", with a hard G as in "geese" ;) And some things related more to BTS: -a lot of these clips in the Introduction to BTS video series are also from their variety shows they've been in (such as RUN BTS, which airs weekly on their Vlive channel), reality series, interviews, bonus features on their albums, twitter videos, etc. -the members often participate in a lot of mini games for fun, even outside of their variety show appearances.
