Maybe you guys aren't homophobic, but if you guys can't control the rude comments, just don't do videos about BTS or Kpop. Their culture is hella different than ours, this excuse that "They're new in Kpop so they can say whatever they want" don't work anymore. Kpop reactors can earn a LOT of money and views just doing videos like that, and if you guys earn any type of money with these videos, you should take more seriously this. Because we army are sick to give views to people who don't care about get to know their music and culture. The comments are homophobic, but if you guys aren't homophobic stop with this and focus in the actual video. Makeup isn't something only for women, it's something to everyone who wants to be beautiful. And yes, they can hug and be really close to another member without wanting to suck his dick, but if they want to, good, i hope they have a good time. So people stop saying that "its their culture" because that's sound like you guys don't want to hear that one of the member can be gay, and that's really homophobic. We Army should have open mind because i know that most of you guys like to ship the members.

Y'all throwing shady comments in the back. We already told you their culture was different. These men are secure enough in their masculinity to not feel awkward being affectionate to a guy he practically considers family. They are a family, they've been together since they were children ffs. If you keep up that kind of attitude, you'll just end up losing subscribers

Lee Ara Do you even hear yourself? Lmao It doesn't matter whether or not BTS has confirmed their sexuality. No matter whether one of the members is straight or gay, them making homophobic gestures like that is still straight up rude. Because they are still making fun... they are either mocking their culture, or they are making fun of their sexuality. Doesn't matter which one you choose, it still isn't right

Another clarification to make, Korea is all about respecting those older than you. Age matters here! So you will often hear the word “hyung” being used by them. This just means “older brother” and is only used by males to refer to someone older than you. So the “hyungs” of the group are Jin, Suga, J hope and RM (they are the oldest) and the “maknaes” (young ones) are V, Jimin, and Jungkook (he’s the youngest one). Usually, the “hyungs” are supposed to be the mature and composed ones of the groups and the younger ones are supposed to respect them. But BTS isn’t really that way and they don’t really give a crap about it since they are so close (although they joke about it). For example Jin, being the oldest, does not act like his age at all, he’s very childish. And J hope being a “hyung” loves to play around and tease his maknaes. The same goes for Jungkook, who’s the youngest, he makes fun of his hyungs and insults them and they don’t really care. They’re basically very goofy with each other to the point where they might cross the line once in a while. Again thank you guys for these videos!!

You know what I found really interesting, that you could tell as you keep watching the video that the subtitles had little to do with what they were actually saying and that the vid was in English yet they didn't bother to turn them off. That told me a lot about how interested they were in it. I have seen many other reactors that realize this right away and turn them off but these guys just kept them on and you could even see the hard subs under

Yeesssssss my bias 💜💜💜 Fun fact. Tae (V) won most handsome male face 2017. Plastic surgeons and professional people (I don't remember exactly who) that look and deal with faces raked 100 males faces and picked Tae as the most handsome face in the world. Also it's okay to react to V rapping cypher pt 3 because bighit uploaded it themselves (also it's not live like he didn't perform it as part of their concert. The vid is like a rehearsal)

Some armys rlly out here trying to justify homophobia by saying it's their "sense of humor" well sorry I don't find funny to be disrespectful of someone's sexuality or to make rude remarks about it, yea y'all don't know the culture but you can at least be respectful about it. Also apologist army's in the comments can see their way out. There are no army's in here being rude to them or anything for y'all to come apologize on behalf of army, in fact it's the other way around, one of them going around replying to ppl and being so immature. Bts are always saying to respect people's differences and to be kind to one another, yet when there's ppl going around saying homophobic remarks y'all stay quiet or try to justify it bc in the end all y'all want are more reactions. Such a pity. And if you guys don't see why ppl are so offended by this, be my guest and stop doing reactions to BTS. Simple as that.

Babyinatrenchcoat That is exactly my point! Bam being arrogant, them not seeing the wrong.. Even if they are jokes it doesn't make it right. It had nothing to do with culture but be mature enought to respect what you see. One thing is to feel uncomfortable but the another is to say derogatory comments. The ARMY apologizing obviously don't really know BTS; they would reply with a serious face saying it isn't right to use jokes about sexuality. Those who don't see the metaphors stated on video well.. Then do some research first before posting comments such as "rotren eggs, unwanted fans" etc etc because as a veteran ARMY, you people make me feel ashamed seeing how you comment saying 'HA HA HA YOU GUYS ARE FUNNY, KEEP IT UP, THE JOKES ARE FUNNY!" ... Seriously? Tell that to those who want to commit suicide or already hurt themselves for such social mentality. Love yourself... Face yourself... BTS gay/lesbian supporters... Fake ARMY apologizing defending the type of attitude BTS is against... Do us all a favor and say you are just fans who enjoy BTS music but not say you are ARMY if you will support and join the derogatory jokes ride. Its contradictory to what BTS and ARMY stand for.

Idk what to think about this.. The homophobic comments ruined the whole reaction for me. As people pointed it out, it's actually a normal thing for guys to be touchy in Korea when they are really close and comfortable with each other, and it's not considered 'gay'. But this, of course, doesn't exclude the possibility of them being "gay", some of them may be, and there would be nothing wrong about it. We just shouldn't assume their sexuality when they haven't said anything about it themselves.

(Here's something I posted somewhere else ) Just some general things to know as you explore more videos: -You'll see that theres usually a lot of emphasis on age. Seniority is pretty important in Korean culture, as younger people are supposed to respect those who are older, even if theyre only older by a few months. Age differences are seen as a bigger deal than in the west. -People call each other with honorifics in order to give respect. For instance, "hyung". You'll see the guys refer to other members as "hyung" pretty often. "Hyung" is what males call older males that they are close to, it means "older brother". This video gives a pretty simple explanation of the honorifics: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o5KQmHdoe9N0mLM -Like others have mentioned, people in Korea are usually more touchy-Feely, no matter the gender. You'll see the members sleeping together often, hugging each other, sharing food, etc. It doesn't mean they're gay (and they'd still be loved even if they were!). It's just part of their culture and it also shows how close they are to each other. They're just one big happy family :) -Aegyo. Aegyo is a type of behavior that emphasizes cuteness. Its usually shown thru hand gestures, "babyish" voices, facial expressions, etc. Both guys and girls can do it. Anything sweet, innocent, childish, etc. If you're not familiar with the concept, it may seem kinda weird, but it's just something that a lot of people do to show affection, if done correctly. I believe that cuteness in general is popular bc it bring a positive, whimsical, fun kind of feeling. Like how you feel when you see a puppy or a baby or something. It just makes people happy lol. -another small thing abt names: In east asia, last name comes before first name. So for example, Suga's name is Min Yoongi. "Min" is his last name, "Yoongi" is his first. And it's pronounced "Yoon-gee", with a hard G as in "geese" ;) And some things related more to BTS: -a lot of these clips in the Introduction to BTS video series are also from their variety shows they've been in (such as RUN BTS, which airs weekly on their Vlive channel), reality series, interviews, bonus features on their albums, twitter videos, etc. -the members often participate in a lot of mini games for fun, even outside of their variety show appearances. Just something to keep in mind: the Intro to BTS series by Squishy Min Yoongi isn't the most accurate at times. Some of the info is incorrect so dont take her word for everything. But I do admit that it is really is a fun way to get a glimpse of each of the members and their personalities. Keep it up, love your reactions! :)

I don't really think they are "cringey" Because they tell information about every member with a bit of entertainment Also yes they are going to get "touchy feely" a lot even out of the introductions That's just them And I'm a shipping fan so its just my opinion Also you never know if they are gay or not They never actually clarified that fact And to be quite honest I know it's a Korean thing to be all close and touchy but BTS members touch and look at each other a lot to be shipped romantically And that's why they are so many ships of them And if you don't like it get over yourself And move on simple.

Kimchi Is Good hey there😊i al not the shipping type of fan but it is cuz I dont ship them romantically or sexually. I do love their bromance and frienship tho. I do ship their brotherhood and friendship. I won't stop any fan from shipping them the way they want to but sometimes...it can get out of hands u know. Anyways, I do know that their sexuality has never been disclosed. I am totally okay if one day they come out saying "I am gay or bi or whatever". Honestly, I just want BTS to be truly happy with whoever the choose or however they want to. I respect everyone regardless of their background and likes and not. I just think that for newcomers of kpop or korean culture in general is a bit overwhelming to watched this series of introduction videos of BTS. I like them tbh even if some parts for me are "cringy" (in a good way i guess) cuz they are fun but some info in them is wrong and some other things are not well explain but it is fine cuz she made it for fun and laughs lol. Sorry if this comments annoyed you. I wasn't trying to be salty about the topic or anything.

why some of yall defending their homophobia? saying that you apologize on the people who calling them out for being homophobic behalf like if being homophobic is excusable. and i can already bet that most of these people defending them are straight. yall saying that its a difference in culture as if homophobia was ever apart of anyones culture. nobody is being immature by calling them out for their wrong doings, the people defending them (and them themselves) are being immature for not realizing that what was said was wrong.

Taehyung (V) is a genuinely sweet person and cares a lot about people. He is also super talented. He has the most versatility in his voice out of all the members (can hit the highs but also sing the lows). I don’t think the video you watched was great in showing that. The person who made the video tried to make it funny but I think a lot of stuff that was shown could have been better. Also, he was never a rapper that switched places with J-Hope. When it showed him rapping, that was during a practice, not during a show. That’s why the other boys just stood around watching him. FYI - If you ever see two of the guys share some sort of a kiss, it’s always as the result of a punishment for losing a game or a challenge. That’s what guys do over there. Love watching you guys!! 💕💕😊

If you are serious about youtube, try to be more professional in your videos. Not saying don't be yourselves but there's something called respect, even if you don't understand or even agree with something be it another culture or way of life, for the fact that you chose to react to that thing, you need to do so with respect and even if you disagree, disagree respectfully. Question: Are you actually interested in learning more about BTS and that's why you are reacting to this video or are you doing so because armys in the comments have asked you to? Because, if you want to actually learn, put the judgement aside and actually focus on the information the video is passing across. Not saying you can't have a discussion or talk while reacting but not talking over the video and making side comments trying to be funny when it's not cause we know it's coming with judgement. This isn't hate, this is just trying to help you better your reactions and your channel. Don't force yourself to do what you don't want to do, cause you would just be wasting your own time. Also, be more open minded. The guy on the front left seems like he's actually listening and pays the most attention in all the reactions I've watched so far, there's nothing wrong in taking interest in something you didn't think you'd like. Just don't let others dampen that interest, if something is not for you, it's not for you.

Thank you guys for taking the time to do these videos! I want to say something quickly first, I’m sure you have already noticed that Korean culture is different from your culture. Like I’m Mexican and at first seeing the guys being really touchy or whatever seemed strange to me. But then I realized that’s just how they are and it’s okay to act that way. For example, the kissing. They usually play a lot of games in TV shows where the penalty will result in kissing (like J hope and V got a penalty where they were forced to kiss) Another thing, these guys are EXTREMELY close with eachother, and part of it is because they all struggled together to become successful (they used to all live in the same room for years). A way to think of them is they don’t really act like grown men around eachother but as children lol. They play around like kids would do, and that’s just how they are. BTS is not only known for their music. BTS is also known for their VERY strong bond with eachother, and that has allowed them to stay together during their very difficult early years. I hope you guys won’t get weirded out and come to embrace the korean culture :) thank you guys!!

Annyeong can mean hello or goodbye depending on context. Annyeonghaseyo means hello. Maknae means youngest. Hyung means older brother (not literally brother, just a male who is older).Your Dongsaeng is someone who is younger than you. Saranghae means I love you.

There’s clearly a difference in culture and I understand how the intimate relationship between some guys in Korea can be seen as gay to those who aren’t familiar with the culture, you guys. You can even ask “are some of them gay?” And I wouldn’t be offended. However, you guys used homophobic slurs in a derogatory manner and that shit has nothing to do with unfamiliarity with culture. In fact, if anything, Korean culture is more ignorant and less open to homosexuality, currently, than America so the fact that you guys said shit like that is unacceptable

Exactly BTS always says love yourself and be yourself and be kind I find really disrespectful that they have The audacity to make homophobic comments it’s disgusting and flat out disrespectful. To them to the LGBTQ Community and Army. BTS has the best bond ever just because they hug each other or hold each other doesn’t mean they are gay and even if they are it’s still wrong for anyone to be judging them. It gives you no right to disrespect someone else’s sexuality.

As an Asian, I get used to their close relationships. In some Asian countries it's very normal, and I know in west cultures these behaviors are kind of weird in men's relationships. As long as you can accept the different cultures, you can react to other videos in this series. Just ignore the haters, you are doing great 👍

Guys, lay off. They’re new to the culture and how close and touchy they are since they’re simply not used to it. That is why they’re LEARNING! Sorry they don’t react to a video exactly how you expect them to. Hate to break it to you, but they are individuals with thoughts of their own and lives of their own, you can’t just request something and expect them to automatically somehow be able to understand everything. I know you have expectations, but so do they. They were recently introduced to a whole new genre and have been bombarded with requests, and they’re doing their best. So instead of bashing them for a completely normal reaction, let’s teach them whatever they want to know about. They’re abiding our requests so graciously and we’re acting so bratty. I know we get defensive when it comes to our boys, but come on! I was the same when I first saw how they acted, I was pretty confused. But through time, I grew used to it and went “Huh, things sure are different.” So don’t go all “HULK SMASH” on the fucking keyboard when they have a question. Or if you do, make it positive! Just a simple explanation would suffice, smh. V Kings, I’m so, so, SO sorry about some of these overdramatic kids. We’re very protective of the boys since they’ve dealt with a lot of hate, but that no excuse! There’s protective, and then there’s disrespectful. You guys have given us daily BTS reactions and are making and effort to learn about the boys. Thank you for being so patient with us so far, I’m sorry that some of us can’t do the same. I love all of your reactions and especially the BTS ones, but if you want to take a break from them or just the Introduction videos, I’ll support you. Again, I’m so sorry about all of this. And Bam, it sure ain’t helping your aching head. Hope you feel better and all of you, just keep doing what you’re doing. Much love from Canada ❤️

I subscribed for your MV reactions, but clearly these intros are not your thing. Just stop reacting to the intro series, because dang apparently your American culture cannot tolerate cultural differences without thinking that it's gay. And for real, I don't know why some ARMYs keep suggesting the introductions vids to new reactors, because those vids are catered towards fangirls (cuz the useless ship infos in the vids crank the misunderstanding even more). Either way, not cool with those homophobic remarks. And rather than apologizing, y'all are being defensive about it, with dumb excuses nonetheless. It would've been fine if you would just admit, apologize, and we can all move on...but no, I guess it's 'okay' to be homophobic as a defense mechanism against uncomfortable touchings? No that's straight up disrespect man, it's 2018, seriously. TLDR: Just don't force yourself to watch these intro vids anymore if y'all are uncomfortable, no one's forcing you. Assuming you're not doing this just for the views, you don't have to please everyone. Anyways, hope to see y'all do better in the future.

I understand why you feel that way about the comments, but it’s something that everyone face when they start posting content on KZbin (and more when it’s something people isn’t use to see in their culture). The more your channel grows the more hate you will get, keep that in mind. The thing here is that you should learn to ignore it and basically don’t give a shit about it bc there will always be people who does not think the same as you and in a social platform you have to expect people who will not stay quite. Just let this kind of shit slip away. If you think you can’t it’s ok and everyone should respect that. It’s your decision if you stop doing them.

I would of been happy if they really did learn but go read their replies, they obviously didn't learn. And for the one who commented saying its childish.. No dear, you are childish! Making excuses for the anti gay jokes... Do you even know the messages BTS have taught us over the years? Obviously not! As a veteran ARMY, I feel so ashamed of the so called ARMY defending their actions. Their faces are "gross" expressions or mocking and that has nothing to do with culture, it has to do with seeing gays as something to tease about or be disrespectful. Now, 'fellow' ARMY.. Lets test your realness ARMY proud... What is BTS message against such actions? Don't think with your own 'cultural' opinion.. Think with a mature mind and do think BTS side of view.... I will answer with the mature mind... All human beings deserve respect regardless of tastes, ideas, and feelings. Don't use their tastes as something to joke around with or to clearly imply that the gay word is a synonym to 'gross'.. That is called being mature and respectful. It has nothing to do with culture. Before stating your opinion, take the time to read the comment section and see the arrogance Bam was replying with, how they are feeling forced to accept gays and korean culture and obviously, don't regret the video content aka they don't care if its anti-gay.... Keep supporting your fave youtube reactors... I will keep supporting BTS and their humanitarian standings that teach to treat with respect, love even those who don't share the same tastes and not be another person in the world that diminishes others only because they think its a joke... But guess what? Those jokes have cause many lives especially in Korea. What you see as a small joking and playing around, it means social degection to those who are gays and lesbian. Is like the fat jokes, color skin jokes, nationality jokes... People will get offended! BTS wants the closed mentality to be open and avoid more suicides... Love yourself.. Face youself.... But here are some ARMY supporting anti gay jokes cause 'ha ha ha its a joke chill that's childish'... Yes, how mature....

I know some can really be douches, but your comment just dismisses their insensitive comment, criticizing too those who feel bad hearing what they said. I'm not trying to be rude, just wanted you to see another point of view from a person who felt desapointed by the comment they made in the video.

In the clip of V with the white shirt, y'all talkin about 'House Of Cards' sang by the vocal line. Highkey, you could make love to that song. Lol And there's a point in the song where the "cards fall", and it for real is like a climax. You gotta react to it. Their visuals are on point. I believe it was their intention to make the performance sexy. Jungkook bites his lips n all that. And the performance itself is really beautiful.

Lol there is a war going on in the comment section. I just wanted to say somethings, hoping I don’t offend any of the viewers. 1) these introduction video are funny and nice but they don’t highlight the members talent. For example more then half of the original video it was all about tae being sad which I felt really sad and bad when I heard the news years ago but that really doesn’t describe tae, ya know what I mean, the video is also more of like a crack video. 2) please please refrain from making any homophobic slurs. I live in US and I know what y’all mean when you say phrases like “that gay shit” or whatever wasn’t meant to be taken seriously especially in America where the term “gay” is often use for something unusual or some scenarios like that. 3) I wouldn’t really go as far as saying that y’all don’t like bts or using them for views. Because everyone in KZbin is making videos for views and money that’s how it works. 4) please be open minded. I get it it’s not your culture but that isn’t a reason for y’all to make some remarks in this video which could be offensive to any LGBTQ+ community. We aren’t trying to force you into some other culture all we are telling you to do is be open minded. Bts has lived together for years and I mean like more than 8 years or so. They are family’s therefore they are very close. So that being said, I wouldn’t call y’all homophobic from this single video but some parts were offensive however you look at it.
