J. D. Sumner had a vocal range that was so low, he could pop off these amazingly low notes with ease...all the way down, to the bottom of the Piano notes! In a Concert with Elvis Presley, J. D. (At least) once hit such low notes,that he was starting to cause the Speaker System to break up. He came within a hair's breadth of literally blowing out the Speaker System!!! Now THAT'S powerful!!!
