In this clip, Teddy Riley spoke about working on “Dangerous” with Michael Jackson, which was followed by “Remember the Time,” and Teddy revealed that the music was already done before it got to Michael. Teddy then revealed that Michael wanted him to be part of “Black and White,” which was the song that MJ wanted to be the breakout single. Teddy explained that Michael took him aside and told him to add something to the song, which you can hear more about above.

The “Michael” album released in 2010 a year after Michael died was a way for fans to grieve the loss of our icon and part ways with the loss. Michael was always generous, to everybody! It was so nice of him to give Teddy Riley "Black and White". I have been watching all parts of Vlad TV Teddy Riley about Michael Jackson. So interesting! How polite and creative they were together, just amazing! Teddy Riley is really a humble good artist. I was laughing when he alarmed Madonna, the vamp, "I have a fiancee"..........hahaha!

I spoke to Battle Cat (the producer) one day at an event and he told of his experience working with MJ. It was like this can't be real. Basically saying MJ never ripped off anyone and made sure everyone got paid/credit for all their work even if they didn't use the tracks on the albums. He made sure personally that folks got their bread. He mentioned he loved hardcore rap music lol

What I'm starting to realize with all these interviews online that these generational celebrities do.... If I'm a playwright or screenwriter I could easily form an autobiographical book or film just based on interviews alone! With all the info that people like Mike Tyson Teddy Riley just to name a few do with interviewers, you can go through clip by clip piece by piece and form a whole script just based on the info that is given. I'm pretty sure the people at Hulu that are creating the Mike Tyson story... Probably just go through Mike Tyson's interviews or podcast and take clips that they seem is vital to the story and build from there. Pretty smart if you think about it.

Teddy has some great stories working with MJ. Best one was when MJ was laying his tracks he did not want anyone in the booth or control room. So Teddy and his guest go wait outside. A few min go by and they start hearing someone calling for Help! While Michael was in the booth a stack of equipment cases had fallen on him…Teddy tells the story perfectly esp his reaction to hearing the faint “Help!!”.
