This man is preaching. I heard Top G give the same analogy about the modern day slave living. As long as we got a roof and a ride we don't connect the dots, we're making the rich richer, and they use us by distracting us with the petty stuff. They try to paint a picture to divide us, because if we're going at each other there's no way we will come together and catch on to reality. It makes it even harder with the policies that keep us down, broke and distracted. Stop looking at the distractions, and pay attention to what they're doing

FUBU, Karl Kani, Sean Jean, Baby Phat, Rocka Wear, were all black owned but we quit buying them. You know why? Trends! If we wore any of that today our own people would clown and say that's played out. If we make anything we're the 1's that turn it into a "trend". Gucci, Versace, Lois Vuitton, Izod, etc, has been here for many years and never "plays out". They aren't trends, they"re here to stay. We're our own worst enemies on every level. We have to first learn to support and patronize each other before we can own anything. Being trendy is our main problem. These youngsters are running around wearing these tight ass $1000 tight ass jeans that's not made for our bodies just to be trendy. Those jeans 👖 aren't designed for shapely people that's why they don't pull up over your ass. They're not wearing them under their asses because they want to, they have to. Long live Karl Kani, FUBU, Sean Jean, Rockaway Wear, Phat Pharm, Baby Fat, 🍎 Bottoms! Those brands fit us like they're suppose to.
@Writer3412 жыл бұрын

One thing that I'm proud of is the brands created over the past 20 to 25 years but the thing is everyone else dont really rock the brands now which is a shame. I feel everybody should wear their own names on their clothes as a start. Create. Last year I told a student to make a shirt with his name because it was unique. He didn't believe in his name or himself. Create then monetize dont worry about the rest. Start from somewhere.
