@@almoen5412 um actually that's how a great interviewer conducts themselves. They set the stage and throw a question out, then their job is to listen closely and allow the person to get their point across and give you a satisfactory answer. Of course if the mf rambling they'll cut you off no prob, but good interviewers has great setups and questions, then allow you some time to answer thoughtfully to get your point across.

The Gucci boycott lasted a week at most. Blacks don't take discrimination as seriously as they would like the world to believe. Balenciaga put out BDSM themed ads with children in the the ads. People are going to yell for a few days and keep shopping at Balenciaga. Most people have the attention span of toddlers.
@divineintervention2122 жыл бұрын
The boycott didn't work because most black people don't buy Gucci in the first place. Even when you do see them with Gucci on it's usually fake. The few people who do buy the real Gucci aren't enough to effect Gucci's bottom line.. It's the same thing with most other high end designer brands. Your average black person isn't paying $500+ on a tee shirt.😉💯

That's a good thing & also accountability on our end. We lose if we allow people to talk down on us without consequences. We lose if we allow one of our own to talk down on OTHERS without consequences. See what I'm saying? Its not us or them. We should call out both. Its just in this instance there's nothing to call out.... except Kyrie lol.

Problem with Kyrie is he talks in circles, contradictions, and fake smart guy stuff. Like a young college kid who just discovered social issues and doesn’t know the history yet. We all know he didn’t watch that documentary, but he wouldn’t allow himself to say he didn’t see it and didn’t know what was in it. Anybody from a big city knows what the Black Israelites are about as we see them posted up on the streets all the time. Him being a sheltered suburban kid whose dad had a piece of change, he never experienced that. Similar to Kap, whose cause was righteous, but grew up well to do and had trouble expressing himself when it was necessary and just stopped talking altogether.

The reason why these community stand strong is because history have shown us that folks have lost their lives behind false speech. People like to down play the consequences of words, some times by using the "free speech, free thought" excuse. But the truth is words matter. It is how we understand each other, its how we connect, its how we teach each other. You can believe whatever you want in this life, but when speaking on a group of people you have to do your due diligence and simply speak to them directly, learn their truth & allow them to speak for themselves. words have the power of changing peoples perceptions and that is powerful.

Let me speak on this real quick. The reason why the Jewish community is able to respond like this is more than just a United front, it's the fact that they have power and have had power for decades now. Whereas the black community's power and community as a whole has been undermined from both within and without. In addition to this, the black community is the most hated community in the entire world. One reason is the way the media has presented us while another reason is how we present ourselves. Those that are supposed to be leaders either fail at representing us properly, choose to oust themselves from us, or are cast out from the community for being "uncle tom's" or whatever. It's a shame we don't have a powerful nation like Wakanda to represent us.
