When Eminem came out black sales didn't go down. When Eminem's first album came out, it wasn't the highest selling album that year. Eminem was 8th in first week sales. Juvenile sold more than Eminem that year. DMX sold more than Eminem that year. Jay-Z sold more than Eminem that year. I swear Jamar just says things just to say it. Makes up his own alternate facts. Jamar is the black Trump. Smh. No black artists sales went down because of Eminem. All the black artists at that time were at their peak and were selling more albums then they ever did before. Eminem didn't steal all the white fans away from black artists. Smh.

Everything Lord Jamar said that was wrong: "First white rapper to sound white".. Em was criticised for putting on a black accent early on. "White rapper paying homage to the white rappers before him but not black ones".. He's literally bigged up EVERY hip hop legend in some type of way in his songs. MMLP2 had so many references to 80s and 90s hip hop groups and or songs. He tends to only wear t shirts paying homage to groups of that same era. everytime he's asked in interviews it's the same thing. "Nobody listens to those people".. In reference to Logic and Hopsin. Numbers don't lie. Also the the pelvic bone thing was in reference to how Elvis danced.

Jamar forgets Eminem was accused of biting AZ and NAS style in infinite. So he had to change his style up, in fact, Eminems one of the few rappers who has changed his rap style multiple times in his career. Lord Jamar style is still stuck in 1994. Eminem has inspired every Lyricist in rap, black or white. He tells stories in his songs and invokes all types of emotions from anger to dispair, that's a fact. Jamar may have came out first but Eminem has taken music in general to new levels. Jamar should be congratulating, instead of hating
@highmost76 жыл бұрын
@J. Ascension ... Lord Jamar is definitely not hating and stated that Em was the better lyricist between them, already. To say that Em was biting or sounding like other emcees disqualifies him from any "god emcee" talk for the simple fact that he not only emulated his favorite rappers but that he's also a clone that has mastered the craft that had already been perfected by others! While Em did take Hip Hop to higher levels, we mustn't forget that it was Run-DMC that took Hip Hop to its highest heights! Em even inducted them during the hall of fame ceremonies. That Eminem has skills, he does, and LJ isn't taking any of that from him. What LJ clearly stated is that this art form is indeed a so-called black one and a lot of us weren't playing Em's songs, at all. We were living a certain way and Em's music wasn't the soundtrack to those times! The reason that LJ singled out Em was because he was this alledged/self-proclaimed "rap god," and he had the nuts to tell him that he wasn't that dude! There's nothing hateful nor racial about that! The truth ain't pretty like a lot of these cities weren't back then when LJ and a ton of us were resonating with what was real to us and not with what EM was offering. His tunes might've and did resonate with others, just not with a lot of us, period, point blank! EM knows what's up and he's respectful of those that came before him. Long live Lord Jamar!

ftnrbhmwk ftnrbhmwk not necessarily. The true definition of a racist is someone who is prejudice against other races and he himself personally thinks his race is superior from others. I’m seeing Jamar being discriminatory towards Em in every single video regarding him. Jamar is WAY OFF with the opioid shit. Lean is an opioid. Lean is arguably the most popular drug in hip-hop right now. Em never really rapped about lean. I can name 1,000,000 black rappers that do and have rapped about lean. Lean is, in my opinion, a pretty big gateway drug because it's one of the least economically viable drugs in the world. A pint is expensive, and it doesn't last long, especially between a few people with tolerances. After you start sipping regularly, if someone offers you a 30mg Roxy for a fraction of the price, you're getting a way better (but similar) high, and you're on your way to shooting dope. The opioid epidemic itself and the obsession with lean in hip-hop are responsible for the opioid epidemic in hip-hop. Jamar was really reaching with that shit.

Vlad how did you and lord jamar miss what that puffy line really meant. Eminem never once said puff was responsible for anything. For people who claim to be in the know about rhymes yall dont know how to break down a line right. The hole point of that bar was to say Kelly will never have a hit. The day he does is the day puffy admits he put out the hit that got pac killed. He is saying neither of those things will ever happen. He never accused puff of anything. This bar went over both of yall heads and i really though yall were more intelligent than that
