I can name 1,000,000 black rappers that do and have rapped about lean. Lean is, in my opinion, a pretty big gateway drug because it's one of the least economically viable drugs in the world. A pint is expensive, and it doesn't last long, especially between a few people with tolerances. After you start sipping regularly, if someone offers you a 30mg Roxy for a fraction of the price, you're getting a way better (but similar) high, and you're on your way to shooting dope. The opioid epidemic itself and the obsession with lean in hip-hop are responsible for the opioid epidemic in hip-hop. Jamar was really reaching with that shit.
