I wasn't even in Ralph's for 5 seconds before I hear "aye aye, wassup lil bro aye, I turn around and ask my cousin who is that he said that look like Stacy , I said yea it do. I swear when I walked up he embraced me like I was his best friend or like he knew me my whole life. Told me that im the future and asked for my number. I left my phone in my car hoping he would still be there, he was right where he been standing waiting for me. That mother broke a cycle and that is commendable. She was a product of her environment and once she noticed her children were heading in the same path, she made a very tough decision as an addict. She chose her family over drugs and got all her children back. That’s a success story worth telling. Just imagine if she didn’t get her life together. Wow amazing. I was a C/O on B yard on 3rd watch and he was brought over to my yard from A Yard cause he got into fight. He had all of his property in a cart and I was escorting him to his housing unit. I told him that he was gonna have to put his foot down, or they were gonna keep testing him. I bet if he thought on it, he would remember that. I think that was 2002 or 2003 at Ironwood.

I'm happy to hear this brother's story and happy that he's still here. I was a huge fan. I still haven't gotten that Jersey we wore in Tales From The Hood but I will get it eventually. One Love Fam. Also, his album is hot in my opinion. I got it saved on Google Play Music. 🔥

Best Vlad interview yet!! And probably the realest one by far ... I've been a fan of Deandre Bonds since I was a kid and I'm 37 now ... Dude been thru a hellva alot! One would expect him to be more aggressive .. But his humbleness is greater than any "Real nigga" out there .. The man has been thru what most rappers rap about .. And he never once exploited it to glorify his "Gangster" if you will ... I have more love and respect for this dude after seeing this ... Wish I could get a chance to have a convo wit big bruh ... Peace King and God Bless 💯!!!

I really enjoyed his transparency, his truth. He has truly been through several storms, but weathered them all. Good luck to you in your future endeavors D.
