Something to ponder... Hammer at one point was signed to Death Row at its height. And out of the vast majority of the people signed to that label, he basically left THAT label with little to no controversy of any sort. If that don't tell you anything regarding Hammer's pedigree, nothing will.

Obviously Serch is the butt of that phrase as Hammer never went to prison and Serch is still fucked up over it and in therapy til this day all because he got butt hurt Hammer wouldn’t dance battle him 😂 All he had to do was apologize for his mans for talking about his mama and the shit would have been squashed, but noooo he wanted to keep saying it was just a clever play on words. He should have been like Redman and apologized. And he should have been fuckin furious with Pete Nice.

You throw gangs signs up and then the other dudes leave? It doesnt take detective dipshit to tell this dude got just straight played. Security is when you pay others to fight others. Protection is when you pay others to simply not roll your ass. Edit: misspelling. But also....come the fuck on with his story to feel better. He paid for protection cuz hammer pointed out he had a check and was scurry. Like dude isnt he from the ne? Like. Mafia territory? Is this foreign to him because the diff skin colors fool him? @@hiphoprbloverjon9180 yea😄 , Run dmc had a Adidas deal back in 80s shoes was 100$ sum 300$ they had a McDonald's or burger king deal too . But. Hip hop was created by 5%ers That what I'm saying.. If anything. The Rap founder is Coke la Rock. Run dmc got grief for it though. So did LL with puma. A lot told them support black brands. Like L.A. tech, British knight, Damage. Cross colours etc. But Hammer won't no punk at all he was never a battle rapper tho. I dont get the beef, but I think it was about jealousy, its is wrong to word play on someone mother you don't know, only in this guy head it was a beef between them,. Back then the radio was blue in California ,meaning it was through crips if I'm not mistaken. I don't think. They wanted to hurt him maybe scare him straight. But He need to apologize.

First of all, 3rd base started the beef & didn't know they was fuckin with a real ass street nigga!! They judged a book by it's cover & thought hammer was like those soft ass NY rappers who aint bout that life!!! Second of all Serch aint & never was a gangsta so he aint on no on sight shit. He would fuck around & run if he ran into hammer or yell while he's standing behind security like alot of pussies do.

You talk that tough shit to the wrong person there can be consequences & repercussions, a lesson that Serch obviously learned from the experience & situation! & as far as you saying it was a rap beef not a street beef, we all know that but obviously Hammer wanted to take it to the streets as you can see by listening to this interview! Like I said, ("different cloth").. Everybody ain't with being disrespected. Especially when you come from a place where people get killed over it!! People handle shit differently bruh. @@whendoigettosayfuck , when someone threatens your life, and they seem serious, you maybe a little concerned. For MC Serch, there was so many factors with Eric B confirming it and plus Lyor supplying him with security, plus dudes telling him that they were ready to smoke him. MC Serch was just a kid from Far Rockaway Queens that talked shit and occasionally scrapped. He wasn't on no killa shit. An event like that I can see why he is in therapy. A lot of dudes from the hood, even when they get threaten, assaulted, or robbed, get traumatized from that event. I was threatened once by some serious ass street dude when I was in my early 30's, by a known killer. I ain't no thug or gangsta, I left the hood when I was like 14 and moved to the burbs. The difference between new york and California, especially the bay area was that in new york it was all style and fashion. On the west coast these were REAL STREET dudes. They didn't give af about style and fashion. These were real street dudes trying to get out. And the rappers weren't gangsters. They were writing about the neighborhoods they were from. The drug dealers funded them. Mc Hammer was on a different level especially because of his brother. Mc Hammer was a dancer to hip hop while hip hop was still in its development stage. He wasn't a rapper. He was a dancer coming up from Oakland that didn't take no sh*t. Oakland and San Francisco never backed down from anything back in those days or they'd be dead by their own crew. The Bay and SoCal are on totally different levels than the east coast, at that time.
