@@Big-ShadyHis man’s talked shit about his mom. He likely targeted search because that’s one of that guys mans. Didn’t pick the black dude likely because of the climate of the US at the time, ofc it’s past the 60s but even today people from that time are alive. MC Hammer would’ve looked absolutely crazy in the black community going after the only black guy in a group at the time then… unless he says something ofc.

That's not why, it's more because he got overexposed that was about the time that he got his animated series and at that time there was a cap of sorts on how commercial you could be and still have any credibility. If you layer that on top of the fact that he's already gained a following by being a bit more upbeat and positive and that's just not going to work. Most of what this video talks about is the result of just being in, very, very good with a community that's used to having to take matters into their own hands. It wouldn't surprise me if somebody else took offense to people screwing with him and he just played along to not rile anybody up.

Back in the day (early 90's), everyone who knew about hip hop new that out of all the rappers, MC Hammer who had this squeaky clean image in public was a real gangster who could also really handle himself. NWA, Run DMC, Public Enemy etc, etc, kept saying they were Gangsters, but the real gangster was Hammer, who done everything he possibly could to hide the fact that he was an actual gangster
