Security would have definitely helped Pop Smoke but there are a few other things he could have done to put himself in a better position: Strike #1, he rented a house in the affluent Hollywood Hills, which is an easy target if you don't have security. If he would have rented out a luxury suite at a fancy hotel, he woulda been okay since there's only one way and one way out and for some hotels and you can't even get on the elevator without a key. Strike #2, he showed his address by accident and probably had some girls from LA (word travels) at his mansion. Strike #3, he showed his movements on social media while he was in town; for a rapper, they should never post on IG where they're at, only post where you have been.

When someone wants to kill a person, they figure out a way around the plan. The security could've also died in this case too. Everyone is not 100% alert every time. People typically choose the most vulnerable times to attack someone so they would've planned knowing the security was there. Just like when you plan out things in your life.

@b.chordial9582 жыл бұрын
"I'd rather have people I can learn from around than to just have shooters around." These new rappers could learn a lot of from Yayo. You can help the wild ones indirectly without making them your crew. And if you make them your crew you gotta give them an ultimatum, to get legit money with you & leave all the street stuff alone... or to just stay in the streets. Cause if they're your crew & still acting reckless while you'e funding them... then you're funding their recklessness, and that can catch back up to you.

If I was a street rapper key word street rapper, I would invest 10% of my yearly earning in armed security I would think of it as operational expense absolutely necessary. Public tech moguls all roll with armed security when they are outside their normal bubble areas. Hire ex-cops or military guys who can legally kill a threat and you never have to worry. Better drop $300k on security detail than a chain.
@lerobshow63002 жыл бұрын
As you should! 10-15% is the key and it's absolutely necessary. I work in the Digital marketing sphere and I have high profile clients and I'm always amazed about how many of em think they need no security because they have ''shooters'' with them. That blows my mind. Once you're a public figure and make a certain amount of money, I don't care who you is you need to plan for private security.
