1090 Jake shed light on the horrifying reality of violence that takes place inside prisons. Unbeknownst to many, prisoners would commonly undergo an initiation test that involved brawling and stabbings. This was compared to wage-earning, whereby those who 'broke off' - agreed to pay in order to avoid violence - might be spared. Jake explained that some prisons went as far as using items like broomsticks or sharp sticks to threaten and terrorize prisoners into compliance. I never understood kids and adults that do violence and crime for no reward other than bragging how bad they are as if it’s hard to be bad in life. They seek validation and that’s why they are always seeking attention in the line light, basically every single rapper

@@dynodyno6970 well being that I’m a former gang member who was raised by nothing but gang members literally who also lost my father at age 11 when he was murdered, and then me going to YA at age 14 for shooting someone and then by age 19 murdering someone on a drug deal gone bad, now that I’m free after 17 years, I think I know what I’m talking about. My brother is doing life along with 3 of my cousins, I literally speak to at risk youth who are incarcerated and you know why the common denominator is, all of them are seeking attention however most come from bad homes or unloving homes so they seek it in bad ways which in turn validates their existence. He literally said I’m his first video his father didn’t want him and sent him to Florida. His kother couldn’t deal with him etc. When I got shot, one week after getting out of YA I because more of a menace and sought validation through violence. I know what I’m talking about. I’m almost two years a free man. What’s your experience on this lifestyle other than justifying bad behavior?
