She WAS a great vocalist. Her old music is fire. Her voice is now damaged as it says in this video. It's extremely raspy now and it isn't pleasant to listen to very sadly. Same happens to a lot of talented vocalists who have unhealth singing habits and no voice therapist to support or unhealthy lifestyles like Whitney Houston.

Put Jehovah first, then yourself, because it’s mostly important to Jehovah our Heavenly Father will help your life get better through this other things, as you pray to him but you have to read the Bible scriptures, so it can help you understand things better in his word from the Bible. Do not do without him as your guidance as he will taught you how to walk into life of Christ, as you benefit yourself.

I was a huge fan of The Fugees and Lauryn Hill. It’s bulls*** how she tried to lie to the world that “the miseducation” was all her and cheat so many others out of their due credit and share. Then tried again on her following album making people sign off their credit or “do it for God.” Then still got in trouble for attempting to dodge $2.5 million in taxes. Then kept up these relationships with men she knew was married and playing the fence as they pleased between her and the wives. That mess will eff up a woman at the soul level, it’s terribly destructive, it’s fatiguing just hearing about it. Her downfall was her continuing to live foolishly one way or another. There is no way to continue to live life wrong and things not go haywire in an ugly spiral. She had something awry in her spirit of wanting things that were not hers with seemingly little regard for who what belonged to, in her relationships, her creative projects, money, etc. 😟😔😢 No judgement, just stating the hard truth of life. If this stuff is at all true this is a sad story, she claimed herself a wise woman but lived like a fool and paid a price…and Wyclef is a flippin’ mess, yuck. 😣 I’m sorry I saw this.

@@lanceking3147 again? I don’t remember exchanging words with you. Yes, we all know how great that album is. That’s why it went to her head and she felt like she was god asking people to kiss the ground she walks on. First of, it’s an album produced and written by many uncredited souls. Second, she was tested on her continued creativity in her sophomore and we all know what happened. From diamond sales to being booed of stage. 50 cent said it best - “I used to listen to Lauryn Hill and tap my feet/ Then the b**7h put out a CD that didn’t have no beats” Lauryn was carried through out her career by others, nuff said

I wish she would write a book an autobiography. I’ve been a fan of hers since she was a fugee. She’s a legend I’ve seen her in concert twice and I waited both times it was worth the wait . When some one in the crowd screamed what took you so long . She said I was getting ready for you 😂 if she never touches another thing musically. I’d be ok with what she’s given us already

Many women have lost themselves trying to find love. Her story is so sad. I can relate to being a strong woman who suffered through so much while being a mother. Most people make bad choices in relationships. I have myself watched another man marry someone else while he still chased after me. Never attended the wedding though. Its hurtful and demeaning to a person. I wish she had chose better but pray for her healing. Life is crazy as hell sometimes

It is always great wisdom to check out the mind before the midsection. Women---especially beautiful talented ones have to be very careful not to sell themselves short. KNOW THY WORTH! This is where strong, involved parenting and mentoring can prove to be life-changing. Your life will be a powerful magnet to all sorts. The counterfeits have a way of being most compelling in their arguments as well as their general persona. Remember Eve! Parents begin to talk to your kids about the importance of choosing a suitable life partner, even before puberty. Seek the Lord and pray before calamities land on the doorsteps. Unfortunately, most women know what they want, but many don't have the strength and confidence to firmly make their request(s) known before any entanglement.

What Lauryn did was wrong. You can't claim sole writing and production credit when others were helping you write and produce the songs. Then get mad when they want their credit and money? How dare she make folks sign a waiver on her second album to give her sole credit even though they were helping her with the songs? I guess her own lyrics caught up with her: "Until you do right all you do will go wrong". Then she asked those folks to work for free?

Ms. Hill deserves much more respect than what's given to her. This queen only has one album (not including MTV) and 20 years later they're still smashes and she's selling out shows. I can only imagine it's the younger generations complaining about her live arrangements. I loved every bit. If you want to listen to the album version, just play it. I saw her in 2015 and it was hands down the best experience musically and she was not late...Only she can tell her story. She's so private, all one can really do is speculate. But, she has beautiful kids and a grandchild and is still blessing us with her voice and wisdom.

Very talented but when you learn better do better. I saw her twice, before and after the drama. She was extremely late, 2- 2 1/2 hours late. By the time she came out, most people had left. Being late in any situation is very selfish and disrespectful.

I have always loved Lauryn Hill as a teenager growing up, but I never would've imagined all the stuff she went through. She always struck me as a very poised, socially, and spiritually conscious lady. I'm happy to know that despite all her struggles she never resorted to doing drugs as far as we know. I would love to see her bounce back with her beautiful music.

Lauryn Hill’s MTV Unplugged album is probably one of my favourite albums. It ministers to me on a different level and whenever I’m in a dark place in my life and seeking clarity and peace that’s when I put it on. So many sleep on that album but it’s so raw, thought provoking and healing to the soul. Lauryn Hill will always be one of my favourite artists despite of all that she’s gone through.

Ladies QUEENS, You may not be responsible for what’s attracted to you ,however you are 75,000% responsible for what you entertain and what you choose. Get to know a man’s mind ,and pray about it ,use discernment ,BEFORE you get to know his body. The sex way too soon especially great sex, before marriage it clouds your judgment ,and you lose discernment, and it’s more difficult to end the relationship.
