Part 2: • Sebastian Telfair on C...
--------
Sebastion Telfair, a New York basketball legend, had a candid conversation on VladTV about his unique upbringing and subsequent rise to basketball fame. Telfair grew up in Coney Island, Brooklyn, with both parents. His father, a Vietnam War veteran, struggled with PTSD following his service. Coming from a big family, Telfair clarified that he has fourteen siblings, not ten, that spans across his mother and father's relationships and includes notable names like Stephon Marbury (cousin). The star player also talked about growing up in New York during the nineties, which he described as rough, but said he didn't consider his childhood rough. Telfair began playing basketball at age 9 and quickly became a rising star, later going on to play in the NBA.

Say what you about Sebastian…..he is THE FIRST POINT GUARD EVER DRAFTED OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL. He set the trend for guys like Lou Williams, Monta Ellis, etc. He made mistakes like every person does in life…but he had a legendary high school career and lasted 10 years in the NBA. Not bad for a Coney Island kid. Salute 🫡.

@@bravey456nah he wasn't good he was phenomenal. This dude won MVP at ABCD camp in 8th grade. I personally think his biggest mistake was not going to Louisville. With all the mistakes and issues he still had a ten year career and was able to show flashes of the dominant guard he should've been in the league.
