I did watch them as a kid. I remember when it came out. that was the traditional m.a., not the modern crap shown in that movie. besides, Kane wasn't a "cowboy" anyway. he was a Shaolin monk on a journey. "Cowboys" didn't know m.a..

Back then a woman had her place and they excepted it, not this lady she appears to be the head of the family which then would have brought great humiliation for him. As much as the modern women feel they have the same rights as a man has today it’s still that way and will remain that way for who knows. Any religious woman excepts that because that was Jehovah Gods arrangement, that the man would b the head of woman. God said the the head of his Christ Jesus, Jesus was the head man and man was head of the woman. The man however was to love his wife as himself. Her property, i believe he is owner too and as head he makes the decisions. Those decisions were however to be made by hearing her position on the matter and his decision would be made by considering her position. She on the other had, being a Christian would recognize him as head and he would make the decision he would do so but make the decision with her position in mind.
