I filled out the FAFSA before entering dental schools and I qualified for student loans. The loans pay for tuition and all living expenses, but I will have to pay it back later.

I'm in dental hygiene school. Dental school seems way more relaxed, at least from this vlog! We go a mile a minute and it's nothing but stress.

What's the difference between dental school and dental hygiene school

@@nanana8928 Dental hygiene school is for dental hygienists. DHs learn preventitive dentistry (cleaning teeth, indentifying things that need to be addressed soon, oral hygiene instruction, flossing/brushing, etc.) Anything to prevent disease/stop disease. Dental school is for dentists. Dentists are involved with restorative dentistry, so fillings, crowns, surgery, etc. Dentists are more involved with after the disease has already happened. This is a gross summary.

Hi! I am a student in primary school and I want to become an orthodontic, but I have problems. You need to be very smart. High school is more challenging than in America i think. You have to be great - in europe that means you have to have mostly A's. I wonder if it's worth the time. And the cool part is the dental-orthodontist school is FREE. I will go into high school next year and I really wonder if its worth the time to study and than go to college. Love from Europe 🇪🇺

If it is really what you want to do and are passionate about it is totally worth all of the hard work and time!! You can do it 💪 that is a great point though, in America it is pretty expensive.. but still didnt keep me from going for it. Maybe a good thing for you to do would be to shadow a dentist/orthodontist and see what their every day life is like, that motivated me a lot! Good luck with everything. Enjoy your life! You will never get the time back from before dental school and your career, just make sure to get all of the things done you need to apply to dental school and do your best to get good grades in school :)
