Vlog #13 - Crazy Eggs, Monkeys & Anxiety!
Hey guys, It's Tammy! Welcome to my crazy channel!
In today's video, I share some of my recent issues with anxiety! The oral chemotherapy medication that I am taking is known to cause anxiety. I already suffer from anxiety, so I think it has basically pushed the already existing anxiety over the edge! I feel like I am going crazy! I went to my family doctor and was prescribed Clonazepam to help me with the anxiety. Unfortunately, there is a conflict between Clonazepam and OxyContin!
After talking to my pharmacist, I decided to spend a couple of days at my mom's until I knew how I would react to the medication combination! I can tell you, it was quite the experience! I have decided that I will only use the Clonazepam when I absolutely have to!
Mom and I went shopping at my favourite store! Yes, you guessed it! Giant Tiger! Mom got me a tray table for my bed, which is going to be perfect for chemo days! I also got a lighter blanket for my bed. I love my skull blankey, but it is super heavy and thick and I was worried it would be too hot in the summer! So my new blanket not only looks great with my pink sandstone accent wall - it was only 12 bucks! Ha ha! I love bargins!
Mom also got me a plaque to go on my front door! And we got a cute stuffed Monkey for the little girls when they come over! I named him Max!
I had issues falling alseep, so I decided to turn on the camera and act silly in my Zebra Onsie pjs! It was crazy but fun!
I finally woke up on Sat. around 1 pm! I do not usually sleep in that late but I did not sleep well the night before! I ended up going over to my mom's to watch the kids decorate eggs for Easter! My mom ended up having to come over early and help me unclogg my plugged toilet! Yuk! Sorry, Mom!
Decorating the eggs was fun! I do not celebrate the commercial version of Easter. Easter is a very important holiday to me because it means my saviour laid his life down on the cross so I could be saved! But I dont mind watching the kids do up their eggs! They had fun!
