Vlog 143, Cruising to Alrewas and visiting the National Memorial Arboretum

Hello Everyone, In this episode we continue our cruise along the Trent and Mersey canal to Alrewas. We visit the National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas. It is definitely a place you should put on your to do list if you have never been before.

Cheers John, It is a special place to visit. The narrow locks are fine, it's the narrow bridges as you enter some of the locks that still make us twitch a bit lol. 👍

Scary stuff! Last year we were one of the last boats through the gates at Beeston before the floods started and it was quite frightening to see how quick the river changed. Glad to hear you made it off. 👍

More stunning scenery and very narrow locks, did I hear a few knocks?! I had relations that lived in Alrewas, don't think that your pronouncing it right. It's Alr at the beginning not Arl, my relatives always pronounced it Allrewas. Please change the new introduction.

Thankyou, Yes there is always a few knocks. Yes someone told me to pronounce it Ol-rewas. Its a word to practice. Sorry you don't like the introduction. We think it's a bit of fun and the kids love it 👍
