Sorry to hear about your ongoing pain Ian. I can relate as I am 58 years old and have 9 herniated discs in my upper and lower spine along with Parkinson's disease. Some days are very rough. Thank you for your ongoing vlog.

Sciatica can be the most severe pain you can imagine when at its extreme.

The beard is coming along nicely....looking good mate! Do you have access to a local council run swimming pool with a hydro pool where you could aim the jets of warm water onto your most painful parts on/of your back. 1. Hydro therapy self managed 2. IBT - most definitely - doing it already 3. Full spectrum CBD only 30mg Capsules - eg Rebound, take one two or three times per day. These are made from the whole plant. Hi Marek Going to try a little hydrotherapy this afternoon, but I know that I need expert manipulation to mobilise my sacroiliac joint and free up the trapped nerve. IBT?? Cannabis is being used liberally for pain relief - THC included. Cycling and walking - when I'm in less pain! Cheers. Ian

Ian, I trust the back is improving. I have a few questions for you and info too. Did you have any success regarding exenatide ? If not here is a good web site with some up date info on exenatide trials. Also check out the info on Ambroxol too. Very interesting. scienceofparkinsons.com/tag/exenatide/ If you have any doubts about Ambroxol it’s easy to cross reference. The other question I have is does DBS help your anxiety ? ( if you have any ) And do you still have room to make more adjustments on your DBS Or are you maxed out ?

Hi Brian The back has been a lot better until today, when I seem to have regressed somewhat! I have been promised a physiotherapy appointment sometime in the next 2 weeks, so that should sort things out, hopefully! Still waiting to hear whether my london neurologist has been successful in her application for an IFR , so exenatide seems as unobtainable as ever at the moment. Ambroxol is very interesting, and the subject of this week's vlog... DBS hasn't done anything either way for my anxiety - I use cannabis to manage it. I think there is plenty of adjustment on my DBS - at least I hope so! Cheers, Ian

@@ianfrizell Hi Ian, There never seems to be an easy answer to the old back issue. I guess we will have to wait for the phase III trial on exenatide to finish up. Yes I'm glad you covered Ambroxol in your blog. And thanks for the feed back on your DBS.
