Thank you for this video. There are not many videos of pumping a Gullwing Sidewinder truck on a longboard.
@chillwithj91022 жыл бұрын
Yes. They are built to carve but also fun to pump around.

thanks for video. it's really useful. Actually I inspired by your video and I took my old longboard, replaced front truck with double kingpin, kept regular truck in a back, but wedged it a bit 10%. And now it's good to go for pump.
@chillwithj91024 жыл бұрын
Yes that works too. You can probably go even faster this way than using a double kingpin truck for the rear.😄

dang. you did 15k in a sidewinder? That is just purse masochism! And please dont tell me you were carrying that backpack with you. LOL

LOL. That was alright. I'm used to cruise with a backpack.

If you want the full Sidewinder experience mount the trucks on a Loaded 'Icarus' (flex 2) deck.
@chillwithj91025 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Good idea. I've tried it with loaded sama(flex 2). Really bouncy, like walking on clouds :-)

Damn, I thought that it is impossible to pump sidewinders. So there is still hope for me :-)

Dude, I´m just pumping a regular 43" pintail board, 70mm Sector9 wheels, Gullwing Reverse trucks 47 degrees, standard bushings, plain flat risers - no specific set-up. The only thing I´ve done is tighten up the back truck, and really loosen the front truck. Got going with pumping after 3 tries! On a flat surface I´m just pumping away (not really fast, but - hey - I´m pumping away, and having a lot of fun with it!)! :)

@@albertk.nelson12 so, tightening the back trucks is better for pumping? I have my front and back trucks pretty loose right now. Still trying to get the hang of it.

You just gotta get good. I've pumped them along with my cousin. You cant pump these then you ain't a pumper

How do you set the tightness of the sidewinder trucks ? Front loose, rear tight?
@chillwithj91025 жыл бұрын
Yes, it helps the pumping. :-)

What size wheels?
@chillwithj91024 жыл бұрын
The wheels are 75mm diameter and 60mm contact patch. They are quite wide so that the board wouldn't slide out.
