VLOG - 2005 VW Golf MKIV - 1.9 TDI BEW - Transmission Pendulum/Dogbone Mount Inspection

In this video I inspect the pendulum (dogbone) mount for wear. This car
will wobble from side to side upon light acceleration. The cause is
a torn rubber pendulum mount. I also find a few other maintenance items
that are needed along the way. As of May 2020 this vehicle has 240,000 miles.

Thank you for all your videos about Mercedes and VW diesel cars. Helped me out to fix the temp gauge on my 1993 300D and I got a 2004 golf BEW with both around 200k miles. Will do a transmission overhaul for the Mercedes later this year when it cools down in Florida and Golf needs work around the engine as well. So far both cars are driving fine for daily use.
