Universities often heighten gentrification by buying out apartment buildings and raising rent. That needs to be addressed before universities can be a positive change in any city. If universities are driving out the residents, how are they actually helping the city?

TFR I so agree with this - I am nodding in several time zones. This is why we need to increase the deep research and research application of universities and / in regional development. So important. So important. txxx
