Your vlog is meaningful and it came at a time when i needed confirmation of my plans. I have a professional doctrate but decided to enroll in a PhD. I'm also a lifelong learner with 2 master's degree here in the US.

I have just started my PhD at 48. I love lifelong learning. Its cheaper than therapy (joke but it takes you out of oneself) keeps my brain creative. I love the use of moocs. Think that unis have some way to catch up on mature students, part time and distance learning. Zoe

Ahh @Tara Brabazon you've done it again! I did my PhD part-time in my final decade of 'work'. Since 'retiring', I have set up a business using in part learnings and skills from my PhD as well as for academic teaching. And this helps me fund some sailing life long learning also = life long fun! And I still get to write and do research.
