I love all that you do in your classroom. The fact that you create different experiences for you K and 1 is so special and something I'm sure they will remember. These kids have the unique experience that I hope your admin and parents all recognize. Most teachers would just create the same transformations and activities for both (or not do it at all as I witness). Great vlog!

I had 5 students absent on our class picture day and it made me sad. I showed all of my past class pictures to my students. I've been teaching 25 years and I even had the mother of one of my students in my class many years ago.

Sorry, stopped while scrolling cuz 0:00 image SPOKE to me! I read the poem 'Invictus' in 1992, never saw the Damon/Freeman Mendela film but The Martian and Interstellar were successful. I was dropped in Feb of '73. Towers opened that year. Bruce 'The Dragon' Lee departed. Our Asia-weary soldiers stood down. The best however... Pink Floyd delivered 'Dark Side of the Moon' less than one month past my Arrival. Guess what Kaufman, Carrey, R.E.M, and Neo have in common? She baked, COOKIES. Not ice cream. Vase DOWN! Duct tape?? 🤣

When teaching whole group and your students turn to a friend to tell them something, do they have an assigned friend to talk with or they just with anyone close to them?

We have assigned carpet spots during whole group lessons, but they can talk to anyone near their assigned spot! :) They usually have 3 options
